In this seminar, Sandesh C.S. Nagamani, M.D., talks about a 2014 paper published in The Journal of Clinical Investigation titled "Evaluation of teriparatide treatment in adults with osteogenesis imperfecta." The paper describes the largest placebo-controlled, randomized clinical trial in adults with osteogenesis imperfecta (OI), which also happened to be the first OI trial to involve the use of anabolic agents.
