Dear bianca I lost my daughter age 3 months at 19. In the same year 2 miscarriages. A few years later I had son he's now 42 and a gift also a beautiful daughter. In 2000 i was diagnosed with hydrocephalus at 46 years old. I went through 9 brain surgeries, I was in a COMA on my 7th surgery. As i was told i was near brain dead. During that time i was in the coma, I felt as if i was in a room. I was drawn into this room deeper. i did not walk as i can remember, i floated. (if you close your eyes really tight, you will see speckles of flashing light.) The further i went into this room, I became more at peace. I though about my 4 kids who were very young. But I was at peace knowing they will be fine and i would see them soon. As i went deeper into this room the speckles of like faded away, and it was very very peaceful. When I was in this room I had no worries at all. Nothing bothered me at all. Its very hard to explain.,,,, Then my father who passed away 20 years ago, stepped in front of me. We had a very long talk, at the end of this talk, he said to me, "Sonny you have to turn around, this is not your time." I said to him "yes dad." and i turned away from him and floated, as I went back the speckles of light came back slowly. I woke up to see my sister holding my hand, I had a oxygen tube in my mouth. I pulled the tube from my mouth and said to my sister, "I just got done talking to daddy", she looked at me as if I had 2 heads. she was in disbelief. I know what I saw and experienced. It was real. I tell my experience to people but no one believes me. People think it was the drugs. THERE IS A CONSCIOUSNESS OR AWARENESS AFTER WE DIE!

I lost my mom to dementia 2 months ago. She had Parkinsons and was in a nursing home for 10 months. She simply stopped eating with orders for no feeding tube. I so wish I could have a redo of the past 5 years, we'd gotten a call night before she was slipping away and in the car I was driving and before I could get to her, I had a feeling of utter sadness and and I knew, I knew then she was gone. @@j.a.shepard1312that’s BS. I was clinically dead for minutes when my appendix ruptured and went into septic shock. The doctor who performed the surgery told me I should have been dead. It was a miracle they were able to save me. Now had a feeling of being lifted out of this world heading towards something bright. It felt like almost traveling throughout space and time. And I had no fear whatsoever it was like I was reassured that I will see my love ones again. I can’t explain why because there were no voices. But a strong sense of security, that we continue on either in an afterlife or the next life but we still move on. But I was engaged and I was extremely worried for my fiancé. Then I heard voices behind and all of sudden I woke up. My parents and my brother and finance were all staring at me crying. I started crying and i rarely ever cry. I was grateful to be alive. And I have been with my husband for over ten years and before I met him I never believed in soulmates. But I have felt such a strong connection to him more than any person I encountered in my life. I think that’s why I was sent back. Now do i think I was heading towards a heaven idk, but it was nothing like we were taught in catholic school. I don’t believe anyone knows for absolutely certainty until you are there and you never come back. Personally I left the catholic church in my early 20’s when I found out my brother was abused by the church and refused to this day to take accountability for what they did to him. My dad is also Jewish but he is not a practicing Jew. My parents let us decide what we wanted to believe when we were young. But At the time that this happened to me. I was no longer apart of any religion and I’m still not. Because what I experienced really had nothing to do with organized religion. It felt like it had to do with who you are as a person. And I felt if there was a god or creators that they would judge me not for how much time I spent sitting in a church but helping others. I spent a lot time overseas helping others not pushing any kind of religion, Because it didn’t feel right saying to them you can have medicine, food and clothing but you have to believe in what I believe in. I only hoped that they themselves will also help others in need, if they are able to. Now I have love one from all different religions and ones who choose not to have one and I don’t believe for a second someone is sent to damn nation simply because they choose the wrong religion. If someone has been a good person all their life that is what really counts. Now everyone has some kind of different story when they pass, and it’s up to people whether or not they want to believe a person’s experience. But it’s absolutely cruel to tell anyone that they are not accepting into a beautiful afterlife because of their beliefs. It very ignorant and cold.

But like why were they running at him in a panic..... and begging him to go back...? do you think the place is better? Because it seems like if his story is true the mother or ur grandmother grandmother was horrified with the idea of him being in same place as they were. Not saying they didnt like him or anything im saying mabe death is harder than this life and if you arent ready for it you might decide on your own to come back because you arent done with this game we all love called life.

@@alexanderwallace7889 Well, that thought had crossed my mind, but then i took a moment to remember how my grandmother was... i took a moment to put myself in her shoes and the thought occurred to me that her watching her own son go out like that would be too much. It wasn't his time yet, and she wanted him to live.

Taking care of my grandmother and she was more out then in and she was pretty much comatose and starts to laugh my mom said what's so funny mom and she laughed and said ohhhh Betty she told me pick a side.. who's you was talking about what's her best friend died which was my Aunt Betty and she died like 20 years before she was very abrupt and love it and I know that was exactly who my grandma was talking to my Grandma passed away a couple days later

Thank you for sharing. I am reading the book Imagine Heaven by John Burke and it's fascinating. I lost my son 5 months ago. He was ONLY 21 years old. Since reading this book I feel less grief about losing him and more peace about where he is and that he is in Peace and comfort in Heaven. I can't wait to see my son again. Stories like yours give me hope that there is a realm beyond death in which our souls and spirit continues on into the after life. I am a believer and I can't wait to be with my son again.
