Just watched this film. Never come across it & I'm 68. Do not miss it & it's freely here. It will leave you emotionally drained.

Sad film but very powerful.

I too love Clint Eastwood; usually I just love him for Johnny Mercer stuff, but damn Clint is a real cowboy.

In my opinion the oxbow incident is comparable to the movie, to Jill a mockingbird. Both show how frigile the human moral compass can be squewed!
