A clip from the Cheyenne episode "Devil's Canyon" where Clint shows off his blacksmithing skills as well as his perfect physique. (Whos looking at the iron work, right?)...Enjoy!
now this is a MAN! compare him to men today! it's fall down laughable! everything about him screams manly perfection, the body, the face, the voice, the mannerisms, the attitude, the walk, just stunningly heart stopping perfection!
My God... a perfect specimen of a man. Was there ever a man so beautiful? So humble. So kind with such a deep, resonant voice. (he has a gorgeous singing voice) . They don't make 'em like that anymore. God bless Clint Walker.
God does still make ‘em like this but they’re limited edition now! I was lucky enough to be with a guy born in ‘81 whose appearance, voice, and mannerisms were almost exactly like Clint’s (except he also had a sexy French-Russian combo accent on top of it all!) I think about him every day!
@@fightermma being ripped helps those with thinner skeletal frames to imitate size and signal that he's strong Clint's arms were like tree trunks; they look like he could kill a man with one blow of his fist, and most men aren't blessed with such superior genetics
I was a big Clint Walker fan in my youth and loved Cheyenne and I guess he was the Hugh Jackman of his day..Tall, broad and muscular and oh yeah hairy chested to show off his masculinity more. Wonder if it was in his contract that he had to be shirtless a lot?? Could watch him in anything!
LOL i had to figure out who he was, i was watching a move w/him and robert duvall and this man was the reason i kept on watching! it was a western and i'm not keen on them, but looking at this beautiful man kept me glued to the screen!
Mustachioed man in hat was character actor Ainslie Pryor, who died of a brain tumor less than a year after this was filmed. He was a good friend of Andy Griffith from the days of the Lost Colony historical play in Manteo, NC, still going on today.
Que pena que ya no hay programas como este tan medido y decente verdad? Gracias a Dios que hoy en dia podemos ver esta programacion clasica en DVD's, no lo cree? Saludos.
I remember this period. And I compare it to today when, unless it's a love or sex scene, usually the first thing a bare-chested guy does when somebody speaks to him is to put a shirt on! Here, Cheyenne only picks up his shirt and hat when he exits w/o putting either on.
Clint was comfortable among Gay Men....had a lot of Gay Muscle Men friends who Hung-out at Muscle Beach...when in the Service, he noticed how many guys would glance him over, when ever he was shirtless....Clint wasn't a vain Dude....just was Damn aware, his chest sells..lol..
Stan ochocki, your information is flawed, at best. Clint was only 17 when he joined the war effort as a Merchant Marine and not even done growing. While serving, there was no time for being ‘glanced over’. Mariners died at the rate of 1 in 26, the highest casualty rate of any service branch. An estimated 10,585 brave mariners died keeping the Allied troops armed and fed while at the mercy of the German U boats. I have never seen or read anything where Clint talks about Gay muscle men friends or of his body being noticed by men; that simply wasn’t his style. His build, blue eyes, and rugged good looks were noticed by Cecil B DeMille, earning him a non speaking role in The Ten Commandments. Warner Brothers saw him on film and bought his contract, later casting him as Cheyenne. WB needed a hit TV show and knew their new handsome cowboy could attract male viewers with the fight scenes and gun play, female viewers with romance, tender kisses, and his broad shoulders and bare chest. Clint Walker was an unknown and had no say in whether he wore a shirt or not. In any case, Mr. Walker was an anomaly in Hollywood, not given to bragging, self-promotion, or vanity.
@@janethartwig774 Thank you for standing up for Clint Walker. Unfounded and defamatory statements serve no purpose except to try to malign the reputation of a decent and honorable man.
LoL...as a boy, in the 50's...a buddy and I would just sit 'transfixed' and watch this show, especially when Clint was Shirtless....(Duh, we 'just KNEW, the rest of him was BIG)...Damn, how we wanted him to be Our Daddy....of Baby-sitter, or Milkman...or the Neighbor next door....LoL..
He is a more natural Jack Reacher than Alan Ritchson. Walker looks so much more natural and has an imposing voice and person. He also doesn’t walk like a robot, more like a cat.
Hey Clint, you have a wardrobe malfunction. That seems to happen to you a lot. Are you still trying to find out where you put your shirt? Oh....there it is.
Not very safe for a blacksmith to be working bare chested - but most sparks were probably flying off the director, writer, and/or casting agent who wanted to shoot this scene with Walker semi naked (or more likely the studio publicity department). Amazing his career didn't reach greater heights - he could have been a better foil for Doris Day in films like Pillow Talk, and the films would be less likely to attract the laughter they now often get when people watch Hudson playing straight.
That’s just your homophobic projection. Rock and Doris worked well together and had chemistry because they were friends. The affection they had for each that showed on screen had nothing to do with his sexual orientation.
