This was a great race, had all the good stuff. Commentator desync (more like leaked script) A few "never seen this happen" moments. Some runner meltdown moments. 4Weird thumbnail+moment. Chat having their moments. Some really fun fuck ups. I hope we'll get another freshman tournament before 2020 is over.
@@wheresmykeys To explain a bit more: the intended way to get the log star is by rolling the log over to the platform, but the speedrun method is to jump over the fence entirely. This is similar to how it's faster to jump into the cage on Whomp's Fortress to get a star rather than the intended method with the owl sleeping in the tree. Since the "noob" way on Whomp's involves waking up the owl, the joke here is that Clint "woke up" the log in the same way to get the star.
Why did they put a 70 star runner in a tourny full of non runners or beginner runners lul. I know we all meme on clint but he wasn't joking when he said he is gonna sweep Edit: Unless he has lost at this point but I doubt it

I don't speed run but. Why not leave the redcoin star on the first Bowser stage and grab the mips star instead, taking way less risky strats on the Bowser level
