Had 172 cup with an RS Tuner remap and a 182 FF and the only difference I noticed was that the 172 used to hit a wall at 125mph and the 182 130mph. Never drove a non-cup Clio that had the lower arms without the offset ball joint that increased caster or the different mounting position in the sub-frame for the arms that was cup specific but I bet these with the softer springs and dampers made the most noticeable difference on the limit for the standard cars and I bet the standard cars were the nicest down a god awful B road 👍
@@thebaguette172 It seemed that way as the RS tuner remap really just got rid of the kick by bringing in best power fuelling much lower and sorting the mid-range flatness you get when running off the lambda with standard map before roughly 5k. Both cars had spot on timing and pulled hard so it seems the 182 exhaust setup does make a difference also considering the 172 cup was a whole person lighter.
