God hear my prayers. Having two sons with special needs is overwhelming at times because they require so much from me. As a single mother things are difficult. I keep faith in you Jesus even as I struggle to pay rent, and as I struggle to buy groceries for my sons. Every month is a battle. I want to give up yet God gives me strength. Faith is my strength.💕❤️

Even though I’m not married or have children, I like the proverbs 31 woman because she was hardworking, honest, kind, entrepreneur, diligent , prudent ,God fearing etc. I can apply those qualities to my life as a God fearing woman. She doesn’t intimidate me but inspires me to seek God’s wisdom, knowledge and understanding in order to reach my God given destiny ❤😊

I believe making sexual mistakes changes Gods path for our lives. He will always forgive us, but that doesn’t exclude the consequence’s for the mistake. That’s the part I fear most.

The Proverbs 31 woman was introduced to serve as inspiration for both men and women to strive for excellence in their lives and to live with a strong moral compass...the emphasis on her values (diligence, generosity, and love for her family) could be applied in other factors of life and not only as a married woman with children. She wasn't created to become the ultimate checklist for women to check off, but a description of a woman who embodies Godly wisdom and character.

Proverbs 31 is not a standard. Nowhere does the Bible says that let’s read it properly. This scripture for us today is an example to follow. If you’re married, your husband should call you blessed and be respected amongst his peers etc. If you have kids they are well taken of. If you have a career, you wake up early and do it diligently. If you have people who work for you, they are well taken of, you pay them their wages. If you have a family you make food for them and buy clothing for them. In totality if you look at what you do today you are a Proverb 31 woman actually you are even more when you don’t even have a maid assisting you to run your home. So no one is disqualified and this example is very doable, when you understand how to read the bible. Thank you.

I think we also have to remember that all scripture points to Christ and that the Proverbs 31 woman is not “just” a single individual but a representation of the church. Her price is far above rubies and the price paid for her was the blood of the lamb. We are as a collective all of these things through Him. We are wise, faithful, loving, industrious, of good reputation etc. I’ve never felt any pressure from the Proverbs 31 woman explained in the text because it is the work of God that beautifies us,the church, as a bride prepared for Christ, without spot or wrinkle or blemish.

I like her. But honestly, Im surprised she's engaged to Jamal Bryant. I pray for her sake he is ready to be faithful and honor their marriage. We all make mistakes so no judgement. I just want to see more Black women be loved right without having to suffer

The Proverbs 31 woman is based on the character of a person. It's different characters: motherhood- nurturing, marriage - commitment, business woman- value,honesty, etc.

When you have a relationship with the Most High, The Proverbs 31 woman should be embraced in a woman. She was a woman with a heart for her family. She had priorities in order.

To answer Tysean question yes it still applies just because I’ve been down the marriage rode once had children. After my divorce I had a choice abstain or casually have fun. I chose abstain. Divorce was so hard I was more than ready ti give myself time to heal & rediscover myself as a single woman.

Great video, A month ago, my five-year relationship came to an end. I really can't stop thinking about the love of my life, who made the decision to leave me. I've done everything in my power to win him back, but it's all in vain, and I can't imagine my life with anyone else. I genuinely miss him and just can't stop thinking about him, even though I've tried my hardest to stop thinking about him. I'm not sure why I'm saying this here.

The Provebs 31 is an example of a godly woman We’re not to be a replica of her That would be idolatry It’s one example of how God has fulfilled and strengthened a woman to be a sufficient helpmate as a wife and still hold her own independence and individuality I think we over analyze everything nowadays It’s God who gives understanding for His word, not certificates Ask God for wisdom and understanding for His word

Being abstinent and not having kids doesn’t disqualify anyone from having a virtuous character or being regarded as virtuous in society. In fact the ppl we regard as most pure, in almost every culture, are those that choose neither marriage nor children. The problem with unmarried women being seen as virtuous is majority of them are not celibate or even abstinent. There are pressures on women to be married but I think the text speaks to women in general concerning the expectation that a woman can only be a good woman/wife is she completely subordinate to a man. A Virtuous Woman is serving God, her family, and community. She is responsible and she has not idolized romance.

Being able to be celibate as a woman of God fasting and prayers are effective as long as you continue in fasting fasting and reading the word of God. I find that I must keep my mind constantly in and on the scriptures that focus on holiness. For instance in 1Corinthians it says fornication is not for the body and the body is not for fornication...but the body is for the Lord and the Lord is for the body. I remember.

If you’re going to mention God and his word you should speak solely from it, not one Scripture she used to prove that the understanding was coming from God, it was her feelings mingled with Feminism.
