clipping is one of the most underrated groups in rap. Because of their alternative sound and dark subject matter/theme a lot of people are turned off but if you engulf yourself in their albums they’ve got some of the better rap albums of the last decade imo.

Daveed Diggs is low key one of the greatest rappers of all time. I'm not just saying that either, he's got more accolades and awards than many others that people put in the discussion. 4 classic albums, a Tony award, an Emmy, a Hugo award, sponsorship deals from Disney and Nature's Valley among others all while still putting out hardcore experimental noise rap with clipping. And he wrote a rap song that might just be the best Hanukkah song of all time. I wouldn't bet against him completing the EGOT before his career is up either

My man sitting quiet through the whole thing, you know he’s listening to what’s being said there. Too many people when reacting to this song rock with the beat but don’t hear what’s really said. Clipping spitting some truth here. 50 years about enough- time to come back. If anybody is curious you should check out Comrade Kevin Rashid Johnson, trying to do something like the work of the Black Panther Party for Self Defence in the modern time. But I encourage people to join with any organization they can.

YES FINALLY, I recommended this one a couple times too cause I knew you'd love it. clipping. is the group. The rapper is Daveed Diggs, the 2 guys performing surgery with him in the video do the production, Jonathan Snipes & William Hutson. You gotta check out Pain Everyday and Nothing is Safe ... for starters! Daveed also co-wrote and co-stars in a movie Blindspotting, it's incredible. His co-writer Rafael Casal and him also released 2 EPs to promote the movie. You're going to want to check out Easy Come, Easy Go and Something in the Water off those. And if anyone's like hm.. he looks familiar but I can't place him; He is Johan in Black-ish, Lafayette/Jefferson in Hamilton, and Andre Layton in Snowpeicer, or you might recognize him from his rubber ducky rap on Sesame Street.

Ppl in RU-vid reaction video comments go crazy for “fast lyrical rappers” like Eminem, NF, and J Cole, meanwhile we got Daveed Diggs over here making art, but no one pays attention just bc the instrumentals aren’t what hip hop fans r used to. the group/rapper being named clipping is referencing audio clipping - audio clipping is what happens when you crank a sound so loud that it overloads the speakers. basically the nerd way to say Loud As Fuck. The intro to their first album just ended with him saying "it's clipping, bitch" followed by thirty seconds of the nastiest sounding feedback and distortion. It's two dudes producing the beats and one rapper, both working at the same time so the flow and beat agree with eachother. cuz both are Out There. One song is Daveed rapping over an alarm clock, deadass

Not sure what other clipping. songs people will recommend, but as far as music videos I think Inside Out and Summertime are the ones to go with next. Also, clipping. is “noise rap,” so the name of the group could refer to this definition: “Clipping is a form of waveform distortion that occurs when an amplifier is overdriven and attempts to deliver an output voltage or current beyond its maximum capability.”

clipping is great, i would also suggest checking out Story 2, Nothing is safe, or Get up by them too, but all of their stuff is great if you're okay with some noise, and enjoyable reaction btw ^-^
