Clive Bunker Story is a document that some passionate people put together to celebrate the brilliant carreer as founder of Jethro Tull band and former drummer.
We had the pleasure to host Clive in Biella, Italy for Microsolchi Festival in 2016, dedicated to vinyl records and live music. We presented this video before the interview we had with him remembering the golden time in JT and his rehersal with Bonzo Bonham. Long live Clive, nice guy and fabulous drummer!

Genius, innovative player. Ginger Baker got all the credit but what Clive was doing on the early Tull was just as inventive and impressive.

I remember exactly where I was when I first heard Clive on 'This Was' when it had just been released and was available in the US only as a Brit import... I was completely blown away by the strange, intoxicating & exotic sound of Dharma For One and Clive's lightning fast chops. It was all literally electrifying and totally magical.

Clive was and still is a huge influence on my own drumming style. An incredibly gifted and very under-rated drummer. Thank you, Clive!

Thanks for the post. Got acquainted w/Tull via some friends in 71' and as the piece says?!??? Lots of bit parts. Glad to see you included Uli jon Roth at the end. He drummed w/Uli in his only 20th century U.S. appearance in 1985. And then at the Legendary 2001 Donnington show with UFO and Jack Bruce. Great, solid drummer. Long live the Clive.

Thanks for your comment! Clive was in our town, Biella, Italy and played a blues concert with a good local guitarist, Riki Massini (check his website if you like), occasionally playing with him and their common friend Mick Abrahams. Clive was present when we showed this video and later we had a short interview with him, talking about his period in JT and after. Clive was great either in playing the drums with Riki or answering the question!! Available and very nice guy! I'm really happy I had the chance to meet him.

I had no idea that Clive Bunker was in a band with James Dewar, Robin Tower and Frankie Miller; an early supergroup! I am not sure why Ian Anderson says that after Clive "left Jethro Tull", he left the music business for a long time. This video indicates otherwise. Mr Anderson's memory is often selective when it comes to ex-Tull members!

Clive is sick/. I am a self taught drummer and the fancy stuff I do, I learned from the master. People are like who, when I mention Clive, but he is betterthan John Bonham. Best rock drummer in history. Beyond human. I worship him. glad he is still alive.

Great footage, but how was that the Clive Bunker story? Just a voice over to say he was a member of all the bands highlighted in the footage would have been a start. It would have been good to get an interview with him too.
