Hands down this is one of the best clod videos I have seen. Great music and action shots! 👌

That slo-mo at 1:38 REALLY makes her look scale. Like the real thing landing. Super cool stuff. Plus the accelleration of the TXT at 2:11 really shows how superior the Clod platform is as far as efficiency is concerned. Whilst the TXT chassis configuration looks more scale, it suffers with torque reaction and almost picks a wheel up. The Clod set-up just puts the power down smoothly. :) That said, I have both and I love both. :)

thanks everyone. I recently put oil shocks on the clod, but they're too stiff so I'm going back to the spring shock originals, more bouncing fun!

I love the realistic bounce and tire collapse like a real monster truck. I get the same effect from my Losi Raminator Nitro, but it's not so user-friendly. I always wondered what the deal was with the Clodbuster.......well worth the watching.

That is so cool. The body looks great, and the slow motion (plus music) really make it real. I love the dead stop burnouts. Awesome!

The terrible stock Clod suspension is all part of its charm. Would be nice to find 8 springs light enough for oil shocks to allow it too move though.

thanks everyone. I'm using the stock single servo steering setup, and a Hitec 650 metal gear servo, which is strong enough for the job.

Nice comparison. Both are too stiff in my opinion - they should sink deeper at landing with a nice ‚phumb‘-kind of landing.

This is one sweet video. I love the way the old school clod bounces around in slow mo. Gives me some insentive to finish my build.

Great video! Are you using rear steering on your Clod? If so, what servo would you recommend that is strong enough to turn both the front and back?

you could do with something for comparison, like a hpi Bullit flux or Savage or a Summit maybe, they would give you something to compare it with and maybe a little bigger with the ramp to test the suspension properly. ;)
