Another good job. I've noticed, your voice is always calming. It's like, yeah sewage is backed up in my shower but your going to calmly talk me through it. Wish a few folks here at my house had that talent.
I'm a homeowner, and somehow fell into the "drain cleaning" niche of RU-vid, but funny enough the calm and methodical approaches are good for me to see. Recently had a shower drain clog, drain cleaning products doing nothing. But, somewhat inspired by videos like these in just keeping calm and working the problem, I removed the rear access panel, checked out the pipe layout, made a plan, figured out the best attack using a snake, no problem, popped out a tight hairball and things were good again.
Its funny how the homeowner is like "Why would someone do that?" when they know damn well who did it. But yeah, there is that chance that they are brand new home owners.
After watching this video I remember when I was helping my buddy with a plumbing issue at his townhouse and went outside and was like "Bro I think this is the cap we need to take off that will give us access to running a snake without removing the toilet".. I was right but we had no clue what to expect when we popped that cap off😑😑😑🤢🤮💩and pads and tampons and hair and 💉 and busted glass "oil burners" and tree roots that wrapped around all of it. But the part that neither of us had been prepared for was the pressure that had built up. We never found that cap that we started to remove and that was like 8yrs ago.

Congrats on your 100th video. Awesome job. That's the first time I've seen you snaking through the shower drain. The owners are in denial about using wipes etc. If they had a daugther, then she is the source. Maybe it's mom herself. Anyways, awesome job. I hope you charge them extra. Maybe pay you self a little Christmas bonus.

Not all woman know the potential problems sanitary products can cause if flushed just as many people including men don't know the risk of "flushable" wipes.
Every time I pull something like that out of a drain oh who would do that? I wouldn't do that. Those people are crazy. Why would they do that every time? That's what I hear. Nobody ever owns up to it. You did a good job on this one
Always satisfying to watch you use the skills and tools of your trade to successful clear these drains. I don't think people have a real appreciation for what it's like doing a job that requires you to literally "wade through somebody else's mess". Yeah your paying for it but..... 💩??

That is a cleaning pad for toilets. Mr Clean makes it. It is a wand and you snap the pads onto the end to clean a stool. I have pulled out quite a few myself. Also pads once and it was a young girl, parents never talked to her about that happening so she got help from School for the products, hid it by flushing them.
that plastic thing i am pretty sure it goes on the end of a toilet scrubber , most likely if got stuck in an elbow then the other stuff piled up behind it, people also like to dump food in toilet and drains and they pay the price, your price needs to be at least double maybe triple and it would still be a great deal.
That Milwaukee drain cleaner paid for itself on that job! My Cobra bends a cable every time I use it, probably my fault though. You know that lady was the one who put all that shit down the toilet!!

I love your videos and on this one I have to comment that the customer keeps saying "who flushes [that stuff] down" and "that's so weird" (no quite sure if I'm correct hard to hear the customer). Doesn't she know who lives in the building LOL?...unless it's a multi family unit with renters...anyway keep up the great work in NY.

@@NYDRAINS I watch this Korean team and 99.9 it's grease in the line. Everybody ooooh my how does that happen. Last night the lady had them come i believe 7 years in a row at approximately the same time. Landlords here would start telling tenants that they are going to have to pay for it.
