That's the problem. They're being sold to customers as being flushable instead of disposable. I know how to wipe my own butt with toilet paper, so I don't know if on the back of the package it warns not to throw down the drain or not; however, I suspect eventually some lawyer is going to get smart and perform a class action lawsuit for these things causing plumbing issues.
Good video But very small cable to use on a main line It is gonna end up getting you in a mess I’ve seen boys run small cables and get hung upPlus you really don’t get the line all the way clean
I pretty sure they bump heads down the line some where but just 2 in a clear system won't cause a clog but if you have residual build up over the years sometimes all you need is a big piece of poop to clog things up, it all depends 😉
Tenants, but the wipes say flushable. That can't be what's plugged it up. Me, just because they say flushable doesn't mean they break down when flushed it just means they will go down when the toilet gets flushed. I hate them things.
Hey NYD, in the U section between those 2 caps, how deep would you say that is? How often is it that the U section there fills up totally to cause a block?
So the gloves do not get caught and twisted in the auger and it is a great self defense against knife attacks. I ask that same question before my friend.
@@NYDRAINS oh wow ok. So when would you or anyone use that one. When they can just do what you did. Sorry to ask questions. I just like to make if I can make logical since lol. Right now I'm looking and im thinking. That is pointless. When all I've ever seen you do is use the normal clean outs.
These NY residential sewage setups are DISGUSTING , I have lived and worked in many 3rd world countries that have cleaner and better designed and built systems . Having a dirt manhole in your home loosely covered with just about anything from rusty iron plate to odd pieces of rotting wood and containing dried remnants of past sewage blockages is at least a health hazard. NY looks to me like a nightmare sh**hole.
@Karlos... You forget these things are 50 to 100 years old! Yes, they're actually THAT old! Nowadays, they've improved them because of new technology and learning from the old ways!
You should’ve went in through the clean out got the line clear then open the trap and cleaned it instead of filling up the pit with shit you make us sewer and drain technicians look stupid....
