Man, after watching many of your videos, I sure don't want to live in a basement apartment. You never know what to expect when you get off work and head back home. I can imagine the mental meltdown after a hard days work and into this type of mess. Thank god there is people like Donald who knows their trade very well.

I own an old house (100+ years old) and I'm sure my sewer line is made of clay. There's been roots here and there. Not a "finished" basement as in no one lives down there, but it would be possible to make it so. These videos have shown me a lot of things I'd rather not know, but also give me a lot of confidence in clearing my drains. Pros and cons I guess.

1:16 Hello Donald and all; when I get those kind of drains all clogged up with roots and/or powdered detergent, which acts just like cement, I pull out my two and three-quarter inch hole saw, (not a paddle bit, but a hole-saw), and I run it down there and really helps to pull up the core of the roots right in the pipe. Hope that helps on the next job you come across like that. Edward H - “integrity, plumbing, septic and drain“ out of the Clinton, CT area.
