#CloneWars #StarWars #TheBadBatch The clone troopers have some great humor and banter throughout the Clone Wars and Bad Batch. It's subtle, but it's very amusing and funny to watch! The funny moments in Clone Wars are the best.
Echo just casually cracking a joke after getting blasted in an explosion, abducted, experimented on, tortured, mutilated, cyberized, brainwashed and violently removed from stasis. What a champ, Domino squad rules.
@@chief2632 I mean - when you're constantly putting yourself before enemy fire, having a sense of humor in the moment seems to be a great coping mechanism
@@chief2632 its like video games, i swear people play their best when theyre just cracking jokes and fuckin around, the relaxed nature takes pressure off you
It's something I wish they'd touched on more in Clone Wars. Like, accents aren't genetic. The clones would speak like whoever taught them to speak. They should have many different accents. Unless their linguistic knowledge is somehow downloaded into their brains rather than taught. But then how do you explain Cutup? Is he just doing it as one big lifelong goof?
@@Definitely_Not_Sheev_Palpatine at some points like the scene when he gets his name he doesnt have his accent so he must just be doing it because he wants to and not because its his accent
Best one comes from Fi (RC 8015) "Is that why you go around in threes? One who can read, one who can write and one who enjoys the company of intellectuals?"
Rex: “Aren’t you gonna help unload?” Zen: “Nah, I’m not allowed near the beasts. Apparently there’s something wrong with my face!” Rex: “Awww. At least you’re is unique!”
Technically he was only a captain in the 501st. He was promoted to Commander in the 332nd Company when the 501st was split up, and Appo was promoted to Commander of the 501st.
@@Evelyn-qt3hi Honestly I still don't really get his rank because for all intents and purposes CT-7567 was the highest ranking 501st officer. I swear he stayed Captain because he liked the name. Literally everyone else got Commander, Thorn, Fox, Bly, Cody, Gree, Doom but somehow the most proficient clone legion under the most effective jedi general only gets a Captain. It makes 0 sense. Rex got original Alpha training with the first ARCS.
@@firingallcylinders2949 Well there is actually a reason, but it's kinda a weird one because you could poke some holes in it. The basic reason is that Ahsoka was the commander of the 501st. Anakin was General, then Ahsoka was Commander, so Rex was Captain. He was still the highest ranking clone in the 501st, even if there was another captain, they'd be the captain of a company, not the whole legion. Basically he was the same position of leadership as Cody for example, but Ahsoka was added as commander, so he remained a captain, but it was basically irrelevant because it was only a name difference. Then you get into some of the holes. 1. Ahsoka joined the 501st and became Anakin's padawan while Rex was a captain, so presumably there was just no commander at that time. Maybe there was a commander who recently died, or Rex was just informed of the upcoming arrival of a new commander and so wasn't ever promoted, but there's no solid answer. Another issue, other legions had two commanders. Take the 41st, Gree's legion. Gree was commander all throughout the war, but Barriss Offee was also a commander. Guess it wasn't necessary to demote Gree? One way I think of it is maybe Rex got the news of a jedi commander coming, that being Ahsoka, and thus chose to remain a Captain as a sign of respect to her. The title wasn't super important militarily I guess, so it was allowed. Once Ahsoka left the order, their was no commander of the 501st for some time. My guess is Rex declined a promotion because it wouldn't really change anything other than titles, and he didn't want to take Ahsoka's former title as a sign of respect. Then again, this is just me speculating and using headcanon. Then when we get to the 332nd, he was just made Commander of that Company so they could have Ahsoka be technically an advisor or something and avoid legal issue with helping her, so the name and title change was necessary to avoid legal issue and whatnot.
Not forgetting one of my favourite Waxxer and Boil moments: "Why do we always get the FUN missions?" "Oh, this isn't the fun part. The fun part is getting BACK!"
My favorite one is in the episode where the clones are running the Citadel on Camino and one clone says, “So I says to her baby-“ And the other clone says, “You’ve never even met a girl.”
Idk if people noticed or not, but 3 members of Domino Squad died in one episode. Droidbait saw the Separatists forces land their assault craft on the moon, then died from the commando droids. Cutup died from the worm, and Hevy........you know what happened.
