Today we're talking about what a Battle Pack even is, plus taking a dozen of them to build something new... Follow for More: www.groovybonesbricks.com/ / groovybones / groovybonesbricks flickr.com/photos/groovybones
Really fun to make alt builds out of sets. Brings me back to when they'd suggest things to build the set into but now we decide what to build with them and specially those that try to keep it in context. I've seen so much creativity with only what's in a set. Like with the 501st set and how hype that one was for alt builds
Honestly they both seem like a good add on to the lore, I like the idea of the gunship, especially as it drops off its weight maybe it gets faster and gets more effective with its movements, gets to a level we're it can compete with a fighter.
OMG! Definitely some of the best alternate builds for this set I have seen!! The droid gunship is miles beyond what I thought was possible with this set. And the Clone mech super super cool. Love the round chunky look. You never really see that in Star Wars.
Yeah it definitely shows, that droid gunship was sweet. I couldn’t bring myself to make an alt build out of the battle pack but that’s not to say I dont love what youve done with them. As for video making, you’ll only improve with time. 👍
My man, you deserve a lot more subs and viewers with this quality content, seriously frustrating how the YT algorithm works sometimes (I find a lot of meh when I'd love to find more channels like this). Started following you on Flickr too keep up the dope work my man!
Love the GAR 40K mech! And I can easily see that droid gunship acting as a hybrid troop carrier/bomber. Like maybe the Seps stripped off a bunch of the armor plating for better manuverability and handling. Love the whole thing. This is why i love battle packs
Loved the video! The only thing I would implore you to implement is either some asmr when it comes to the Lego piece's clicking together or adding some script while you're fast forwarding the building portion instead of being silent with the audio picking up the speed up portion
I didn’t want to get into it too much in the video, but the price jump does make sense. Aside from regular inflation, there’s more parts in the 2024 set than in the two 2007 sets combined (160 vs 215).
I love them both! The walker totally seems like something the Coruscant guard would use to guard prisons or patrol the lower levels of the planet. And droid gunship seems like the CIS version of the Imperial dropship from the og battlepack and it's 20th anniversary remake. Do you think I could make something similar to the gunship with half a dozen battlepacks, provided I have eough of the 1x6 brick w/ hinges on each side to make it as big as I want?
Wait ur a Lego master right? I got the utapau trooper 75036 original set when I was younger so receiving the new 75372 is awesome, thanks for the ideas
Thank you! Unfortunately, like I said, a lot of the connections are pretty loose or kinda forced. If I’m going to make instructions or a tutorial for a build I want to make sure the model is solid enough for anyone to build confidently.
