I'm just gonna go ahead and say there is no "could be". You're shooting one with a red dot sighted in most likely and just peep sights on the other. Come on there's no "could be" stop trying to give an out is very simple and cut and dry. Unless you took the time to put a red dot or scope on the wildcat the comparison was kind of pointless.
The manual for the wildcat says to dryfire to release the tension to drop the frame easier, it's a lot easier and smoother when you do. I'm using the Bx-1s and Bx-25s in mine, no pronlems, they actually designed it to work with the ruger mags from the start
I really dig that lavender stock, but I can't find it anywhere. All I can find is the archangel type of stock--I like the Archangel stock for the Mosin Nagant, but not the Ruger 10/22.
Polymer is what many gun manufacturers are using these days in handguns, so now in rifles. The Wildcat is light in weight and shoots much better than demonstrated in the video. Plus the Wildcat is easy to field strip and clean compared to many lower-priced semi-auto 22 lr's out there today. One issue is that the Ruger is heavy, and maybe years ago that was ok, but times they are a changing. I have to admit the Ruger 22 is a very reliable 22lr rifle and for many years it's been sought after for its good shooting and reliability. I don't expect anything less out of the Wildcat.
I agree, it's a nice rifle and I love how it comes apart. The Ruger is great but hasn't changed in a billion years so it's nice to see it have a little competition.
A few people have said that, I should have used my other 10/22 the scope mount is raised so I can use iron sights too. Maybe I will have to do another video of the comparison.

The stock on it does feel cheap for sure and my mag on it broke but it does have some nice improvements that I wish the Ruger had. Thanks for leaving a comment.
