Something that always got me is I couldn't find one Republic ship. That means that the Clone Fighters were fighting against separatist ships, droid fighters, Umbara fighters and possibly even Umbaran ships.
@@shaansingh7629 Kinda a lame tactic from the republic, lets be honest and real here, the Umbaran people are along side with the Chiss and mandalorians a warrior race.
Star Wars is more fantasy than science fiction. People hate the TLJ space battles because the bombers are too slow, Poe should have been shot down sooner, the Dreadnought has poor defenses, and that hyperspace move does not follow lore. Still, 30 X-Wings destroyed the Death Star, even against the best pilot alive, Darth Vader. He even shot Luke several times. If that was done today, people would hate that 100%.
I wish we had gotten more strategy games set in republic era Star Wars, I know there is the Fall of the Republic mod for EAW but I just mean full fledged games
Even going into more detail about the clone war would’ve been great I realize they had To follow a plot line but man seeing all the Jedi fight with the clones in different battles would’ve been sweet
Always take droid fighters two-circle if you are in a Y-Wing. You're not going to out-rate them. Go two-circle and if they slide in on your six, scare them off with your turret blasters until you can get offensive again.
1:26 This scene always bothered me for some reason and after some thought I think I know why. It's the fact these ships are arranged in a way that the ships are daunting if you're approaching from the surface but leave the top almost completely unprotected towards an attack from space/the upper atmosphere. And where do spaceships tend to attack in this series? Entering from ABOVE the atmosphere. It makes the battle formation seem more contrived for the episode's plot rather than organic. And for that matter, why is this thing even in the atmosphere to begin with? Up until now Star Wars ships can enter and exit the atmosphere of any given planet with ease, so why is there even a reason to drop into the atmosphere? As far as I remember it's not explained in this episode or any previous episode
