I love the song, but it reminds me of my breakdowns and anxiety attacks. It's all calm and the man is singing peacefully and out of no where he starts to glitch while saying "so", to me showing that hey something is happening. Then it cuts to the overall main point of the song and just the beats and music to me interpreting pain and anxiety. And when the girl gasping giving a second of calmness then it starting over again. I really like the editing, keep it up. 💖

I kept sitting there wondering why this song was so familiar to me. I found out it samples "So Sick" by Ne-Yo and I have blurry memories of hearing it in the back seat of my mom's car on the way back from somewhere after dark. It feels like my past self and my current self clashing in this seamless way. Because who I was is part of who I am. Something old becomes something new.

Because since there's no more you, there's no more anniversary." line. It just punches a whole straight into my chest. Then the drop is really what I feel. That jumbling noisy wave of emotions after reminiscing. It hurts so much, and it's all over the place. Too much "oh! I hate him!" I’ve probably already made a comment on this video but the only thing it’s doing is boosting its popularity. I found this video a few months after it originally came out. I listened to this and admired the editing for hours a day. My cousin lived with us at the time, so she watched it with me. That was three years ago. My life has done nothing but change and change, time and time again. I’ve seen lovers and friends come and go. I’ve been hurt, and I’ve come to some of my lowest points in life. But everytime I hit a low, I find this video again. This video always takes me out of that low. It gives me another mindset.

Oh my gosh I love this style of editing so much??? Idk how exactly to describe it but the last part felt very surrealistic and conceptual to me and it’s so fascinating to see how the animations combined with the real life footage gives off such a unique feeling. Incredible job!!

i love the sudden shift in the tone of the music. shifts like that will instantly get my attention :) 2023 EDIT: the shift in tone kinda strikes a bit harder now. this is how i see it; the longing yet calm lyrics over the gentle tune, and then the sudden snap to something more loud and violent mixed with the clashing visuals, flicking back and forth, almost like someone's having conflicting emotions on memories they wanted to forget. things that seemed so calm now feeling jittery and broken, like a trust that was long since broken. the single brief moment of what seams to be peace, a single memory that can't be tainted by broken promises and endless tears, but it still feels bittersweet nonetheless. and then the train of thought is shut down with the sudden ending, leaving you in a deafening silence right after something so loud and grating. it's so well done and one of my favorite pieces of music to convey such specific emotions to me.

I can really relate to the lyrics. When it says " Every song reminds if what used to be" reminds of how everytime I listen to two time or baby hotline by Jack stauber, I get memories of my ex flooding before my eyes. I really miss her. I wish I could go back.

Tw bit of a vent. Will remove if needed. Found this video again 9 months later :) thought about it last night and searched for it this morning. Was up til 12, crying whilst reading a letter my cousin wrote for me when she was 9 while she was at school. It was the first time we had gotten to see eachother in almost 5 years and we somehow had so much in common. Her letter was all about what cousins meant and how we really were made for eachother wll along. 4 years later. We havent spoken in some months. After our family fell apart my parents made the decision to cut her out of my life because of what she has done to me for the past couple years. The emotional truama wont ever go away, but when i watch this video it reminds me of that summer we spent together :) sitting on my bed and making gacha videos as little kids. Riding our bikes through the nieghborhood with this on blast because who was gonna tell us we cant? Im grown now, and everyome is gone again. But its alright, sometimes you just gotta smile because it happened and let it go. This video is my everlasting memory of her, in a cheesy and totally not cringe way. See you in another 9 months probably :)
