Fun fact, in Legends the first Jedi purge was worst that Order 66.

To be honest, I always felt the number of people involved in the Clone Wars was a bit off, the Kaminoans told Obi-Wan they had 200k clones ready and a million in priduction... so they spread 1.2M clones (if they were ready, which I doubt) plus 10k Jedi (my guess clones on this video count kids too) top in a Republic of thousands of worlds... during WWII, Poland alone mobilized that number of soldiers, and I guess WWII had 50M+ soldiers fighting at the same time in ONE PLANET. I originally thought maybe in Star Wars, having a lot of worlds makes them far less populated, but I don't know, but we saw worlds with big cities, so I don't think so (Theed in Naboo looked so small for a planet with a representative on the Republic). So, I stopped caring about numbers or accuracy after seeing clones behaving like Napoleonic-time soldiers (fighting forming a line) instead of modern tactics, Star Wars is space fantasy, so I don't care about it 😂

@@nchldmn Its funny that the Clone Wars gave almost every jedi council member an episode except him. Oppo Rancisis was brought in late but the fact that they gave him a new lightsaber shows we wear going to see him in action at some point. Depa Billaba almost made it and they wear able to reuse the model and we hear her voice in Bad Batch. Kcaj didn’t get anything. He was just there like in the film. I really hope Dave thinks of him when making Tales of the Jedi season 2. I want to see his model up close, I want to see his lightsaber, I want to hear his voice and what he sounds like. Im so intrigued by this guy because of this. Him and Pablo Jill (his original identity) deserve something.

They killed him in Kenobi anyway, at least someone acknowledged his existence....to make sure nobody else does, guess the Kenobi writers felt pity for him lol

Filoni said they already had her model to replace Adi Gallia and yet we never saw her in any council scene, and let's not start with Agen Kolar A.K.A Not-Palpatine's warm up, they even used Eeth Koth in Yoda's vision of the fight with Palpatine because they didn't have a model for Kolar

@@gonzalocastro5561 I know but even then it was just a background thing. We didn't see him up close, we didn't see Obi Wan react, they didn't even confirm if it was him. The only way we found out was concept art.

I love this part of the comic. Shows just how strong willed and compassionate our clones are 💪

@@mrzirak792 This is normal. Comics and written works have a very low canon value. Anything presented "on screen" overrides canon. This has been the same way back when Legends was a thing.

@@nchldmn Honestly, I'd take his Sequels and whatever cringe they may have had over Disney's Sequels... At least George wouldn't character assassinate his own characters and would actually treat the franchise with respect. Heck, if his Sequels were about looking for surviving Jedi then they could slot right in at ANY point after Return of the Jedi and the EU probably wouldn't have to drastically change so long as his Sequels didn't massively retcon anything or bring Palpatine back again, but he'd probably give SOME explanation in the movies if he did unlike Disney who left THAT to the supplemental material.

It was an excuse to be able to measure a person's attunement to the Force, and justify some non Force users having unusually higher senses and skill. Remove them, and the stories work just fine. We already know from the OT that only some people are born Force sensitive.

@@LincolnDWard which only really needed to focus on a handful of targets as many survivors just wanted to go into hiding to survive after the order fell or were padawans and not skilled enough to pose a serious threat to operations in the future

@@johnspartan5722 It's possible that some may eventually have joined the Rebellion (e.g. Ahsoka Tano), but people like Cal Kestis would have led mundane lives had an Inquisitor not shown up to kill them.

In the canon Vader comics, it was confirmed Jocasta Nu survived but was one of Vader's first victims post order 66

@@themidknightmando3219 she was killed during the temple attack in legends, specifically the old revenge of the Sith video game. But in canon she survived order 66 but Vader hunted her down fairly early into his inquisition of the Jedi.

Plus we were still at least 99% successful in the plan as the rest of the Jedi were killed either by us or by Lord Vader. Palptine. Ok then Fox. At least you didn’t completely fail me. Besides I have another way to deal with the surviving Jedi.

Not too mention in the legends series there seemed to be a least a couple of Jedi left like Kyle some crazy Jedi on a winter world and I wanna say a couple others I’m not too sure because I don’t know much about what happened after episode 6 but in a book I was reading Luke’s new order had a least enough for a new counsel

Luke was the last Jedi, the survivors of Order 66 all gave up being Jedi, they may have still done good... but they were no longer abiding by the Jedi Order.

In a way Yoda did train Obi-wan, since Yoda spent much of his time teaching younglings during the latter decades of the Republic. "So what I told you is true- from a certain point of view..."

@@Fordo007 That's kinda true actually. Cal Kestis got into a relationship with Merrin. Caleb Dume/Kanan Jarrus had a kid with Hera Syndulla. Bode Akuna had a kid and ended up working for the ISB. Ahsoka Tano left the Jedi Order before Order 66. The list goes on but very few if any (other than Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda) claimed to be Jedi AND abided by all the Order's rules during the Rebellion era.

I believe kota is a name on the wall of the hidden path in kenobi but i could be mistaken.

The Jedi and democratic system they protected held a lot of legitimacy, so it's kinda foolhardy to do away with both overnight. Give yourself unlimited powers, but don't actually CALL yourself "Emperor"- it's not gonna track well with a population that's had elected representation for 20k years

The Crimson Reign comics confirms there were eyewitness accounts of Yoda and Obi-Wan at the Temple. I assume they probably wiped the camera footage of themselves once they got in

@@haydenfowle7576 not that theory again please, that's literally impossible, there are so many evidences against it that I'll just limit myself to use the most important one, old Obi remembers Cody in a comic set during his exile on Tatooine, and the last thing he remembers of him is Cody trying to kill him, so...plus, TBB already left implicitly clear that Cody thinks he killed Obi wan
