I had that happen with a pig spot lighting on private land, got it the thermal about 100m away went around the corner on a track and it was about 25m away when we pulled the spot light up 😂
Geez who is that rooster dancing on that rock😂🤦🏻♂️ Good times spent in the hills with you lot, definitely one for the archives! Be embarrassing if I missed at that distance! Cheers guys!
Glad I came across this channel about a month ago. I have watched almost all of your guys videos. Makes me want to fly to NZ to do a hunting trip. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for posting guys, I really needed something from you to watch! I'm not to chipper lately but your posts always help turn that around, even if it's just a bit, it's better than nothing!!! Looking forward to the next..... I'm surprised you were able to get ready that with him so close, that was wild!! I guess.....JE Wild?!
Not good to hear about your current self, but really glad to hear that we could help! It sure was a made dash to get ready for it! Bahaha! 🤣 JE Willd indeed!
Great vid guys keep up the good work your slowly getting me back into hunting again once we come out of lockdown in Vic might have to invest in some new gear
It's amazing!! NZ has some really awesome hunting, for sure. But then we do too, just have to know where to look aaaaand in some states, know the right people. Which, can be super annoying, hahaha! -Kat (the Australian in this trio!) 😁😁😁😁😁😁
Good shooting Joe F. What an effort you guys put into finding the distant deer & Chamois, then the buck pops into spitting range. Huge country where you were, & looked sooo cold 🥶 that I’d never go there. Cheers 🍻🇳🇿🐨
That made me feel so cold just watching the ice on the campsite each morning, it was actually a relief when the sun hit the site :D Nice work on the Chamois!!
Another great hunt guys, so frickin' jealous of your lifestyle! Really hoping the borders are open by April next year so I can come and knock over a couple of chamois and tahr 🤞
Great Scenery and good photography guys and girls , a good Chamois for dinner and breakfast for a couple of days . Hell it must be cold up there , well done ...Kevin from Ohope in Lock Down !
Wow .... You could have ...... 'Poked it in the Eye with a Sharp Stick' .... it was so close !!!!! .... As the old comody line goes .... Brilliant vidclip ... Thanks for sharing .... Cheers from ChCh
Another ripper video man. Well done on your first Chamois JF! Nice work on the camera too guys. Great to watch this kind of stuff and I look forward to some bow hunting action which I'm sure is in the pipeline 😉 Keep up the good work!
🤣🤣🤣 faaark that tent setup was cheesy AF... but it did make me laugh so 🤷♂️👌. Wtfffffff that buck came out of no where I'd say awesome shooting but... I'm sure even I could have hit that 😅. Eeeeepic vid team keep 'em coming 🔥🔥
Great vid guys just loving the footage as I just squeezed in a trip over from Oz before the crap hit the fan an the scenery was epic so hope I can get back there one day🤞
@@j.e.wilds-hunting yeh mate we took a 5 hr tour with Lake Tekapo 4wd tours up the big valley just out behind the lake which was just spectacular 👌 The tour goes mostly on private land but there was a really cool doc hut waaay up the back beside this beautiful flowing mountain creek and the guide (an older local fella) told us he hunts up there and there is quite a few tahr in the hills round there. They do let a few people hunt up there and there is a bigarse track that leads up to another hut up in the mountains which he hunts out of. I did a lot of cross marketing here in Oz putting businesses together for mutual benefit so thought it might be worth ur while to contact them an for a chance to hunt there give them some exposure on ur channel as if I lived there I would b totally all over it myself ?? Anyway just a thought mate? Cheers D
Some good deer sometimes in that area, something to consider if wanting to leave any good young ones. Spikers vs 2 year olds may be difficult to identify at times. Good chamois, particularly as a first. Would be interesting if any uncommon birds are encountered.
Nice spot...along time ago my self and a mate who is sadly gone we’re up hitchins range near ivory lake and shot two nice bucks while still in our fart sacks we were surrounded and out numbered by 30 to 1 I had never seen so many chamoi on one face ever again
Hi man. Love the videos. Hopefully one day I will be able to experience a hunt like this, here in South Afrca hunting is a bit different..... When you are in areas like this how does your medical kit look like?
Awesome 👌 another sweet mission with lots of fantastic footage guys 👍 I gotta ask, what's the selfie stick you use with your gopro as it makes no noise when you pan around with it etc. Would love to know, cheers.
Another quality video, you are one of my favourite hunting channels and loved the tip about the canisters. Out of curiosity was the chamois a buck or nanny? The horns looked to be thin in the base like a nanny.
