Used your video for some evening routine motivation while my favorite Fly Lady coach @dianeindenmark is on hiatus. I see you used a lot of surface cleaners. No shade but here’s my experience if it encourages you. Everyone is different but I just use water and a rag for most of those things similar to your mom but 2024 update lol. We use the Dawn Power Wash sprayer so I take that and my kitchen towel (or a paper towel) and do anything I need “clean” of germs. Unless you are ill or have raw chicken out etc bleach isn’t needed just hot water and a soap plus friction :) I just use the hand towel I got wet drying my hands as I cook etc for counters if it’s not red stuff and give a quick wet, spray “Dawn”, wipe off and toss it for the wash where it was going anyways. Getting to 1 product streamlines things. I get the idea the wipe is easier but eventually maybe it will be habit enough to try out “habit stacking” on a diy thing. I have sensitive skin and hand wash our dishes so I do a refill for the Dawn I found on Reddit so it’s using an SLS free soap that my hands like better too.

Thank you for your advice! I use multi surface cleaners other than the clorox wipes! I agree I think ima go back to using that. I used to use thieves cleaner for years and years I want to get some of it again.

I have a white sink and use Bar Keepers Friend to clean it. My mom taught me to fill the sink with Dawn and hot water to clean as you cook and to wipe everything down when you’re done.

Hey!! I can totally relate my mom did the same thing with filling up the sink and then cleaning the counters..I use to do that myself because thats how I was raised and then switched to the store bought cleaners but sometimes I think about going back the other way lol…Oh yeah I sent you a message on IG probably in the message requests 😊

My grandma and my mom always filled the kitchen sink with dish detergent on the water and cleaned the countertops and appliances with it that was totally a thing! Love your videos
