Close to Burning Out in Diamond Painting? Spontaneous Kit Up & Chat 

As a fellow diamond painting creator, I want you to know you're not alone in how you're feeling. I have been experiencing many of the same feelings of pressure and being overwhelmed and feeling a bit possibly burnt out because of it all. You aren't alone! A lot of times i think people don't realize all the work involved in creating quality content, especially with multiple social outlets and the obligations we have to our viewers, our collaborator companies, other community members, etc. It DOES turn from hobby to job quickly, with all the pressures of s job then some! But at least it's a job doing a craft we love! Thanks for sharing your kit up and feelings.

I have used your square Sparkle drills, they have nice clean edges an a great sparkle. Are there coming round Sparkle drills? I am very happy with your Etsy store here in the Netherlands. Its nice to see prepare your canvas. I dont mind if you do that more often

Since the free kits have taken away your joy and turned a hobby into a job, would it be within the realm of possibility to simply return the kits and say thank you but I’m not able to do this at this time? Legit question. I am asking sincerely since you seem so stressed about gifted kits. If I had 2 kids and a job and several channels and the joy of diamond painting was gone, I’d ship them back asap! Just my opinion. ❤

This is my favorite smallish kit that I have ever done! I love pink so it was right up my alley. Great choice! How do you make all the drills fit in such a tiny container? Do you use the baggies for the ones that don't fit and then just replenish?

Hey Romi, ik kan me goed voorstellen, dat het allemaal wat veel is. Ik ben in ieder geval heel blij met je video’s en je etsyshop, maar leg jezelf niet teveel druk op. En als de shops, waar je de gratis paintings van hebt gekregen je een beetje volgen, dan hebben ze ook wel begrip ervoor dat je misschien wat later bent met hun painting ❤. Ik blijf je hoe dan ook volgen 😊

Hi Romi - ik vind het niet zo gek hoor, dat je tegen DP burn-out aanzit. Je werk, kindjes, Etsy shop en al je content - dat is echt heel veel werk. Goed van je om gewoon eens even fijn te werken aan een kit waar je zelf heel blij van wordt. Als ik zelf ergens blij mee ben dan is het de beslissing om geen affiliate aanbiedingen aan te nemen. Op die manier heb ik altijd de vrijheid om te werken aan dp's waar ik zelf zin in heb en geen tijdsdruk (behalve wat ik mezelf opleg). Uiteindelijk gaat het om de lol en die paar 'gratis' dp's gaan echt het verschil niet maken - je video's zijn top en je Etsy loopt ook goed. Je hebt een prachtige stash waar je prima mee uit de voeten kan voorlopig. Gewoon n even iets om misschien in overweging te nemen. groetjes uit zonnig Frankrijk

I'm sure this won't make sense to anyone but What I really like about this was that as I watched you kit up it made me feel like I didn't need to be so hard core about my storage and drills not fitting in my boxes. And the fact that there will never be the perfect storage. Ideally I would have loved the EW storage but it's not available to me. Ah well. Thanks for this I felt less alone.

I love these containers. I have several of them and I am very pleased with them. 🤎 This washi tape trick is brilliant, I will definitely try it soon. 🙂 I also feel a bit burnt out when it comes to diamond painting, because I'm making another painting for someone else, not for myself and although the painting is beautiful and is for a loved one, I don't really like landscapes. Can't wait to finally place my first order for a DAC and finally be able to enjoy diamond painting again. I dream of a painting by Margaret Morales but all of them are currently sold out, but I have a few beauties on my wishlist that I could buy. Great video Romi, kisses from Poland 😘
