Commonly refered to as "Air Force Two", this modified B-757 (C-32) is the vice presidents way of flying. Air Force One was preparing to pick up President Obama and the delegation after the COP21 in Paris, as this one came right behind.
The COP21 was the biggest ever meeting of world leaders, so as always the pace and security was at the top. When the vice president is not on board this plane, the callsign is simply "SAM" (special air mission) and the assigned mission number.
