love your work as well as your tutorials. You have a wonderful speaking voice, your straighforward, good speed...all around fabulous! Thank you so much!
Your designs are so beautiful but I also adore your tutorials! You make everything easy to understand and straightforward! You are truly gifted! So much inspiration! Thank you for being amazing!
what a great voice you have! Could watch your tutorials for hours on end. Thanks for a clear, instructive tutorial without excessive chatting. love it.
I made this last night with 24 gauge wire (i.e. what I had on hand) and it came over very well! It's not as wide as this one but still looks good. The hardest thing was keeping the accent wire centered between the two silver wires. The tutorial is excellent, as are all of yours !
Best instructor I've seen, you're very talented, I love watching your videos I've been on a binge watch for the past 24 hours lol... I'm a new subscriber
Christina, I just finished my first Close Wire Woven Bracelet following your delightful--and extremely detailed and helpful--tutorial. Thanks to your suggestion, I got some silver plated artistic wire--the first time I've used it. And the first time I've tried to do such a close weave. As I got into the project, I appreciated more your "tips" like folding down the wires over the tape so they don't slide, and how patiently and carefully you dealt with the wires, keeping them in place. I didn't feel like such a doofus when they seemingly took on a life of their own :-) Your voice is so reassuring--that we can do it--and your techniques are so expert--we can trust that we will get to the end with something beautiful. And I did. Not perfect. But, still pretty considering it was the first time--with artistic wire and with the close weave. On my finished bracelet, the weave was more open than closed, and I mucked up a few outside braids--my cat was playing with the wires. For me, there was a learning curve with the artistic wire versus the sterling silver I usually use. The feel and response. But wow, the colors are fantastic. So, I'm surely going to give this close weave bracelet another go--maybe with my fuchsia wire! Thanks again for such a great tutorial.
maggiewired Thank you so much for your message. It is so nice to hear and I'm really glad that the video was helpful for you. And yes, certainly, different wires take a bit of getting used to sometimes. But it sounds like you did a great job, and yeah, you can definitely get some nice coloured wires. Makes the possibilities endless. Hehe don't you just love it when the pets want to help us out ;-P
Just wanted to thank you for the videos. I thoroughly enjoyed them, and kudos to you for getting me to rediscover my love for wire. Seed bead weaving stole me from wire weaving, but thanks to you, I'm in love again. Keep up the fantastic work that you're doing.
I Got your response! Thank you for the link. I had some dark copper and purchased SS wire for the accent. Almost done, need to do the ribbon ends. Thank you again, it was a fun project and it looks nice. I can't wait to do it in silver!
Beautiful work!!!! I would think that something that would help you is to find a vise or something to hole the top firm. I would have like to see how you manipulated the finished piece to tighten the weave. Thank you for this, it is really beautiful!!
You've given me ample information--more accurate than I had before--so I appreciate it. I've got enough info now to connect the dots correctly. And you DO have tremendous technical knowledge! But you weave that so effortlessly into your tutorials so we not-so-technical-folks can follow :-)
quite fantastic I must say..very impressed. You should create a website if you have not already and offer your tutorials at a price. You have gift dear.
Really nice.. I’ve done these before using square 22g silver and copper but haven’t taped them the same way-your method make keeping the wires flat way easier. Terrific tutorial 😁Thank you
I really enjoyed watching your tutorial. You made a bracelet that look like it would be so hard to make, so easy. Thank you so much for sharing with us other crafters.
I love the bracelet and your instructions. It's so easy to follow. When I made a bracelet like this, I put small pieces of tape down along the groups of wire. It really helped to keep the wires in the groups of 3.
This is fantastic, I am going to make one of these for my sisters birthday :) thanks for the tutorial. Btw, using a small vice to hold one end and also using a thin needle would make this process much easier.
Loved every piece of jewelry you made, watching your videos and learning new techniques made me a better designer! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful talent! Blessings Victoria
Thank you so much for sharing this awesome tutorial and thanks for explaining all the little things that some ppl skip over. It really helps, esp. for a beginner like me!!
Beautiful design and excellent instructions! Thank you very much for sharing the design and taking the time to make the video. I cannot imagine why anyone would give anything other than a thumbs up.
GORGEOUS PIECE! Can't wait to make this one! You do such beautiful work and you make it look so easy...which all of us know is not always the case. Thank you for all of your tutorials---you keep me inspired!
+CSLdesigns You're welcome!!!!! It's beautiful!!!!! Would it work if I used a different size wire for the accent color, that's a different size than my silver wire?
CSLdesigns Ok, thank you very much. I'm trying to do it now. I found some wire that's the same gauge. But just enough to make one. I also love your open woven bracelet too. I'm going to try to make that one too. Wish me luck, I get frustrated fast, lol. 😀
Thank you so much. This is another beautiful bracelet. I'm so hopeful I can learn this art. Your tips make it so much easier. Thank you for posting the source of your wire.
1994abbygirl Thank you. Hehe, yeah it is quite a few wires, but once you've got the weave going it's much easier to keep them organised as they are naturally sorted in their groups :-)
If you use nylon pliers, you don't hurt the structure of the ribbon bands. BTW. you need nylon pliers while making this beautiful bracelet for straightening the wire :-)
Your work and designs are absolutely beautiful and your tutorials are excellent. I have just started making jewelry and only hope I can become as proficient as you are. Thank you so much for your videos . How do you come up with your designs. They are all beautiful.
Thank you. Some Years ago I try this weave freehand, but it didn’t work. Hahahahaha. About the aktuell crisis, we here in Germany all have to stay inside our homes, 23 hours the day. So I have a lot time to make. Greetings from Germany and thank you 🙏
That is REALLY pretty, and your instructions seem very easy to follow! I've never seen the ribbon ends before, and I immediately stopped the video to look them up. Art Beads in the US has several sizes, as do other suppliers as well. THANKS!! Do you think this would work with sterling silver also? It's lovely, and I'll be looking for more of your work. :)
Great video. I love the bracelet and cannot wait to get my supplies and make it. I missed the length that is cut. In the video it looked like the finished bracelet was approx. 7". What length do you recommend for the wire lengths to begin the project?
