Closed Corrado’s Market in Wayne, NJ

This location closed down in July 2023. The True Value Hardware is located inside Corrado’s Market, which was pretty weird to me and I never seen that before lol. I saw a person inside the building, plus they are auctioning off stuff that’s inside the place. So who knows what will happen with this building in the future, possibly another supermarket will come here I’m thinking.

It’s because the rent in Wayne is so ridiculously high. Another reason Wayne is a blue and white collar city. Corrado’s only works well in inner cities like Clifton and South Paterson in a migrant community.

Yeah that makes a lot of sense, the one in Clifton has been there for such a long time. First time I been there was back in the 90's as a kid

The Boston Market in Shrewsbury is out of business as of July 2023. Last Boston Market in Monmouth County and at the shore. Come check it out when you have a chance.

Well, hope something comes here. But I'm not sure if opening a grocery store will do good here since ShopRite and Stop & Shop are right by this place

Corrados owed a lot of money to the bank 14.2 million. The bank is auctioning off what Corrados left behind.

Wow, I never knew they were in that much debt! The only location that seems to be doing very well is the one in Clifton, NJ and they have been there forever

They are just making newer grocery stores nowadays, there are a lot of ShopRite and Acme locations still doing well in NJ

Nice, I gotta check that out. I haven't been to Long Island since my Montauk trip last year in April 2022, so I wanna go back sometime in September hopefully! And I def wanna film the Bridgehampton Kmart before they close for good!

Corrados. I felt that they should've only stayed at the location that they were in for decades instead of branching out, Wayne and Deville really hurt the establishment and Fairfield is just barely staying afloat.

I agree, they are only doing well in Clifton. I remember going there a long time ago in the 90s and 2000s but I don't go there anymore with my family, times have changed. The reason why they weren't doing well in Wayne & Denville is probably because of the high rent there and product was probably expensive

The one in Wayne was great for a long time. Went down hill when Covid happened. I'd bet they were there close to 20 years

They closed not too long ago, that's why a lot of stuff is still remaining inside to auction off to the public

Yo dude, I know I just made a request but I would love for you to come back to Newtown very soon and visit this very old and abandoned “Fine Wine and Good Spirits” that closed in December of 2017. It’s been closed for 6 years now. If you look up that store in Newtown there is a new location right next to the building but if you do go explore it soon you will find the building since it’s so old and musty
