Closed Doors (2011) - Award Winning Short Dark Thriller Film 

It's implied pretty strongly that there wasn't any violence going on between the girl and her bf when the pictures and candles are shown, and it's implied that the blood was never there when he looks at his shoe after beating the bf with the bottle. Everything was really happening EXCEPT the blood. I do like your "worst time ever to have a bloody nose" theory though lol. Bottom line is the guy is extremely mentally unstable, I agree it's a great short thriller.

Shaky cam movement also tells a story. It's to show that the character(s) feel insecure, vulnerable, or maybe dizzy and sick. Respectively, I disagree with you and feel that the shaky cam movement was very effective in telling the story. This was a very very good short film.

The guy from the beginning was obviously delusional, possibly paranoid schizophrenic. He noticed blood on his shoe after talking to the girl and saw blood coming from her nose when she opened the door the second time. After he beat her boyfriend bloody, he passed/blacked out. When he came to, he noticed there was no blood on his shoe nor was there any blood under the girl's nose. It was never there in the first place. He looked around and saw that they were pretty much a couple having a romantic night, with a bouquet of roses on the dresser, candles burning, a collage of photos of the couple on the wall. When he was listening with the cup to the wall, an image flashed of a man beating a woman. Again, this was all in his head. The father, bent behind the photo of him and his mom, was most likely beating his mom, the image he saw in his head, and responsible for his erratic behavior.

+Marci Samms What's not to get. A young man kills someone who is abusing his girlfriend or wife, and does so because of his past- because his father abused his mother.

Aryan Varma no they are a happy couple having a romantic night. No violence. Everything is made up by the main character himself due to his abused past and also his unstable state.

Aryan Varma sure and he knocks on his wife's door asking if she's OK. That must be his sister or something. By the way this short is horrible.

Haha Lol or they aren’t lazy but it’s something that they wouldn’t understand like being In a different major a person who study’s film or literature will understand this more than a average joe so we can’t expect everyone to know what someone else’ knows ya know idk if that makes sense but still
