Closed ShopRite in Waterbury, CT 

Personally, when ShopRite switched to the inferior Bowl and Basket product line, I learned to shop elsewhere for certain products that were replaced by that line.

That sure looked like a large and fancy store. Hope your vacation is all you want it to be. Adventure on! Take care.

The Shop Rite used to be Toys R Us and there was a Two Guys store in the plaza, too. The Taco Bell was a Roy Rogers back in the day. The school and abandoned Ollie's was Kmart, the furniture place was originally a Kmart foods and was a Service Merchandise and Joanne Fabrics over the years. A lot of great memories in this area. The old Naugatuck Valley Mall was across the street where the Walmart plaza is. Be careful in Waterbury it's sadly getting worse all the time. You should check out Holy Land, it's open to the public now.

I remember going to that plaza to the American Steakhouse which was next door to the buffet back in the 90's. There was a Toy's R Us there too where Shop Rite building is or was now...

TD3 how's it going? Before this was a shop rite it was price chopper. Shop rite never changed the front when they moved in. I remember the kmart that was next door.

I think you should check out the recently closed Stop & Shop in Highland Park, NJ as well as the recently closed Subway in Byram, NJ (which I asked Bubbakoo's Burritos to open there).

Stop n shop took that spot and gutted it think its open now

Looks more like a Price Chopper than a ShopRite.
