@@iXus78 I think that in most ways sarb is still better: it has tone on tone date, better looking hands (subjective), 20mm lug, signed crown and female endlinks on the bracelet for a perfect fit. Only the movement is worst but it has better power reserve

So good, until 19mm lugs are mentioned, i hate odd/awkward lug measurements, makes getting decent straps an absolute pain!!

19mm is not a problem, you can squeeze a 20mm strap in it.

Yes 19mm is a pain, but if you're handy with a Dremel or sharp knife, it's easy to get a 20mm strap/bracelet to fit. And, it's fun. I don't understand all the drama.

This is basically a JDM product, ie for the Japanese market, where 19mm straps are reasonably common.

Bought the blue dial one. Great watch but the bracelet leaves a lot to be desired and takes away from the overall feel of quality. I’ll be putting mine on a canvas strap.

@@frblaze2 Good thing they’re interchangeable. Ended up putting it back on the bracelet. Doesn’t get much wrist time though as I bought a very similar Chronomaster. Great watch though.

CITIZEN is a great ALTERNATIVE to SEIKO but not a SUBSTITUTE. SEIKO execution, case curvature and sculpture and diminutive wearability is arguably the best and untouchable.

Have both seiko and citizen divers, citizen is better in both quality and wearability, Seiko execution leaves much to be desired at the entry-mid level. Citizen seems to have better quality control.

Looking at the recent iterations from SEIKO not only do they pay homage to their iconic timepieces like the 62MAS but they have incorporated modern technology in their movements making them far superior and capable than any other watch company. You cry about misaligned chapter rings - an issue that can easily be corrected by opening the case back removing the movement and steering the chapter ring all in under 5 Minutes Tops. SEIKO offers more watch for the money bro. And with the advent of ubiquitously available moding parts the sky is the limit 👌. Look at the newly released SEIKO SK5 GMT....unbeatable!!!!

It is a expensive watch, was expecting reasonably priced watch that could stand competition from others. Citizen is not known to be automatic watch expert, neither they are in luxury segment so they really took a huge risk which may not pay off.

Im not debating the quality, and it looks great, but come on, it looks like an old Seiko 5, or a Datejust. For the price, I dont think its a game changer.

Actually u should say all watches looks like a oyster perpetual / datejust... Even Seiko 5, SARB or Grand Seiko looks very similar. I don't think comparing this to a Seiko 5 or Rolex is right. They are all in different quality and specs. Don't easily get confuse by similar design, coz' most classic design watches are very look alike.

For the price? It absolutely is. It has some things going against however... Only 1 microadjust makes this thing hard to get the perfect size for many wrist sizes
