Follow us as we discover a gorgeous gem in Jasper National Park called the Miette Campground. Formerly called the Pocahontas campground, it was renamed for multiple reasons (link below) but to clear any discrepancies it is the campground located along the Miette road which also leads to the hotsprings.
Miette Campground is a secluded gem, nestled just inside the east boundary of the park on the Miette Road. This campground offers basic services, including running water, fire rings and flush toilets (no showers). Best suited for tents as well as motorhomes and trailers under 27 feet.
Why did they change the name?
