I agree. This is one very specific take on minimalism which is almost solely about colour. I would love to have seen a take on minimalism that is more about shape and structure, incorporating colour.
I presumed these corridor confessionals are because Team Trinny are making a new book or filming something? They seem to be producing something else. Not just a confession. I have no idea who the other lady is, she seems like a producer? Hopefully Team T will go back to the real closet soon!
Why do I get the feeling Trinny is *really* revealing style secrets that people aren't even consciously aware of them being needed to accurately nail a look? Listening to her I can see how little tweaks nail the fashion statement. Trinny is a master teacher. Her points/attention to the details reveal how we *all* can take full control of our wardrobe. I feel so empowered by her instruction. I am very grateful!
I'm a minimalist and an architect 😌 I thought I'd see Trinny's interpretations of minimalist style, and how you add your twist into it. It's a pity to watch this sets, mostly in black, and a black&white standart looks for the office. Minimalist dressing is much more than that, in my eyes. Also colors, such as beautiful grey, beige or navy, can be part of the modern minimalist wardrobe. 🙏🏻 I hope next time there will be more Trinny ideas that will be inspiring!

I am enjoying this, personally! Feels like a bit of an Ann Demeulemeester vibe to a lot of the looks, and while colour is also fun, turning to the textures and layering to provide interest in this way gives such a thoughtful, serious but relaxed feel.🖤☕️⚫️

That gilet is brilliant. I do occasionally dress B&W minimalist. I see how a gilet would add a whole new dynamic. Adding it to my wish list. I think this minimalist episode really drives home the architecture of the garments without the distraction of color. I know the format of the closest confessions episodes is different, but I’m getting over my nostalgia for the less formal chats. Please continue these. With the underlying commitment to no-buy or low-buy this year, these episodes emphasize what is already in one’s closet. Loving it.
I use colour in my minimalist wardrobe. Am I the only one that feels like baby pink or lavender are like neutrals!? Both look amazing with camel, navy, off white, cream and beige. Endless options!
This is perfect for me and actually not far from the way I have been trying to dress. I am a 56-year-old Goth preferring to make my look more elegant than grunge now. I do like the rock chick look, but I prefer a minimalist futuristic style. I think you could colour block also as a minimalist, but I wouldn’t 😊 Love love this.
I think being tall makes layering easier. This kind of style is very restrained and not for me personally, but it's always fun to watch. Please do punk/ grunge if you think its doable for a mature demographic.
Minimalism is definitely home for me. I have been really enjoying this series and have picked up some inspo from each but none of them make my whole person sing like this one. Love every piece and how you styled them all. LOVE that white shirt especially. And those old Celine oxfords. Fabulous.
Although a minimalist in my home funny enough I don't dress like one ....I love prints and colour so would love to see your take on this with colour!! But a good black and white outfit is an essential in a wardrobe I could not do it all the time!!!

Miss the old style CC , loved seeing you grab things out of your wardrobe to develop a look. Felt more authentic to the process that we all do at home.
Question: what to do when you are in heated indoor environment? Taking off layers and layers?? Don’t get me wrong, I love all the layers and the assembles sure make the look unique and interesting.
I like final looks being more polished and well thought out. However, I do agree with others that previous setting worked better. I wish you guys can combine both into this series and make it closet confession 3.0
Love your new place and no matter where you live you bring excellent style and upmost joy to us in makeup, skincare with all your Closet Confessions and wardrobe shopping. Though I live in the US and my lifestyle is very casual at work , I can always use and styling pieces of your posts to blend in with style. Consider doing another Closet Confessions with casual layering pieces with lots of jeans, tees, sneakers with a mix in of boho type vibe as we head into summer.
This was a great lesson about how with a few stylish pieces great" looks"can be made. Each piece of clothing stands out from the crowd. Had they all been "run of the mill" the resulting looks would probably have ended up looking, dare I say it, drab! I would love to see a similar lesson in monochrome styling but using a colour that is not necessarily a neutral. Trinny has such wonderful clothes in all the colours of the rainbow that it would be a shame not to!
Loved this capsule, thank you for the inspiration, seeing the evolutive effects of additions and alternatives. I do gravitate towards these minimalist looks, my misfortune is that black is horrible on me…so I revert to replacing black with dark cool greys, or navy, or making sure black is not close to my face.

I’m a minimalist although I think of it as more masculine or simple yet dramatic lines. I feel less vulnerable as a female when I dress like this. Still sexy and stylish but not girly. Love your pieces and the monster boots rock !🇨🇦❤️🇬🇧
I really liked the video. I’m a minimalist and look to your videos to get inspiration on how to get out of the box. Minimalism doesn’t have to be all black. Actually all black made It look more goth in my opinion. My favorite look was the white shirt and black pants. Always thankful for your ideas on how to layer clothes. ❤
Sorry,but I don’t equate minimalist looks with just black and white or lots of layering. I don’t think it’s Trinny’s personal style at all as she’s all about bright and contrasting colours as well as more flamboyant pieces.I think minimalist fashion is more to do with less fussy,simple but chic designs and tonal dressing with understated accessories.
It’s a little hard looking but I love it but I’ve spent a few years trying to break in colour. What about body shapes does it only suit tall slim women as yourself? Thanks for sharing this video 🦋
Very ageless and serious style! But the lack of colour is so hard to watch for a colour addict😅 I don't even have a white shirt!!!😂 And only black trousers with gold buttons!!! 😁Could there maybe some time in the future be "room" for a Purple Confession?💜 I'm really missing some inspiration in that department🥹😃🤞
Loved the minimal makeup. I watch a lot of minimalist channels and I must say, they don't just wear black and white clothing and big ugly shoes. Not sure that minimalism means a non earth friendly pvc coat added in just for texture. Love you Trinny, but this wasn't my favorite grouping of clothes from your closet.
My least favourite CC ever. I didn't like the look or any of the clothes. It's suprising because I mostly wear black and dress very 'unfussily' too. I always admire all of Trinny's wonderful 'bird of paradise' colours and WISH I could make them work for myself. Also miss seeing Trinny's fab wardrobes in the background. Maybe because it's more inspirational to me. But regardless of all of the above, always always love Trinny and team - and the Closet Confessions make my Saturday:)
