Truly, I have never regretted giving away clothing that I have never worn for years. I have more room in my closet to be better able to see the things I love to wear, while giving others the opportunity to have clothing that they would not have had I have allowed it to remain in my closet, thinking I might, and I mean might, want to wear some day in the future.
Trinny, I think the orange linen hooded coord looked absolutely fab on you open with the bandeau underneath. It looked very modern and trendy. I feel you though, I am not a huge fan of linen either because it feels too heavy for summer to me in a very hot climate.
Fabulous summer treasures, Trinny!! All perfect for your body shape and style!! The only ones I'd let go would be granny's and the white dress you cut out. The rest are all keepers, no matter how long they've been in your wardrobe!

Hi Trinny , my suggestions, 1st dress looked amazing with Stella ball necklace as belt , don’t get rid of it 2nd dress , you might get rid of the buttons and turn in into V-neck 3rd Melissa Odabash dress , maybe you can cut the sleeves off , make it a fresh Grecian dress The white dress you cut , can definitely go 😘
Love this! Some of my oldest pieces are also summer ones - they come out year after year. I love being able to reinvent them with newer pieces. Sarongs are my go to swimwear coverup and I wear them around the house in the summer after a shower and while I’m getting ready for the day. I would love to see your ideas for scarves and sarongs. That evening dress from a scarf is genius! I’m off to see if I can create something similar with one of mine right now 😂😂

Thanks to you I’m more comfortable now taking ✂️ out and customizing things to fit me better. It’s made a huge difference in my wardrobe and I have been able to modernize older pieces as well ! So my vote is you made the dress 10x prettier!
The first dress maybe just needs a pop of colour from the opposite side of the colour wheel. I have a beautiful grey feminine military style jacket I used to wear in the summer but haven't for years now because the sleeves are short like a bracelet sleeve but you inspired me to buy a long sleeve sheer(ish) top to lengthen the arm and I wear it so much now, I'm so glad I kept it!❤

We still do. We had a communal wardrobe and the most fabulous stuff. Mix and match. Mostly sewn stuff though. Clothing made from sari fabrics. We had pvc skirts, long pvc coats. Aaah! Also very excited to see a scarf to outfit video! Where do you get large scarves like that? Traveling, or large pieces of fabric from your fabric store with the edges hemmed? Would love to see all different types of ways to fasten them and not have a nip slip or wardrobe malfunction 😂
The grey dress with the neon understand has kinda futuristic style. @10:49 the cutting of that material bit in middle of dress looks soo much better. Maybe a big black round edge belt would look good as well. @10:58 my favourite outfit so far. Looks so beautiful & comfortable

With the white dress I would cut off the whole top and make it a beautiful skirt. I think what looks off with the dress is the narrow long sleeves for summer.

That white dress that you cut in front - perhaps you should add in a similar fabric to what you cut open, but to go all the way to the neckline of the dress? Or wear it open with a silver or gold bandeau bra underneath?
