One thing to keep in mind, we all know that Taz is stunningly beautiful, and because her face is so symmetrical, everything looks extremely good on her. But she periodically gives the measurements from her forehead to chin and you need to remember, she has a very, very tiny head. So keep in mind that something that reaches collarbone on her, if you’re of a “normal” head size & neck length, might end up chin length on you. (As I learned the hard way.) Still, her channel is the best I’ve found for really comprehensive views and that she takes the products outside previewing is a godsend. (Thank you Taz!)
We have the same exact measurements though I am not as pretty I can take her advice on if it is too big, I enjoy listening to her recommendations the way it fits her is the way it will fit me. Though I do not look good in platinum blonde she still has other amazing colors I would look great wearing. So, whether I want the color or not the wig itself is another story. Her style is just awesome all around.
You psyched me up with your presentation, so I just styled my Noriko Dolce Nutmeg R and wore it around the house for awhile. I am losing my hair and you have been helping me to build confidence while wearing wigs. Thank you, Taz.
Lady you are just beautiful....no matter which wig you had on, no matter the style or shade you look adorable! I can only imagine all the people you've help and continue to help with your honest and informative reviews. I haven't purchased a wig yet, but I admit to being intrigued. (I can't believe how many you have---storing them must be a challenge!) Keep 'em coming Girl! God Bless.
Jackie Sue Thank you for the kind words and encouragement Jackie! I really appreciate it. Wigs have changed my life. I'm here to help if you need it💕💕💕
Taz you are one of my favorite youtubers. You are enjoyable to watch in your many wig reviews and I really learn a lot from you about the different beautiful wig styles and colors. I've been a regular wig wearer for almost three years when my nice bio hair started to thin out almost overnight. I'm an avid fan of the Rene of Paris and Noriko brands. Keep the new videos coming. Thanks again dear.
Being new to wigs, I've been wondering why the same style can seem different, even in the same color. I was told that due to covid, the wig industry lost a lot of seasoned wig makers, given they have to go through an 18 mo. apprenticeship. Plus it seems like many wig makers are cutting back on how they make the wig in order to save on cost. I've had to buy several Raquel Welch Sparkle at a time to find one that I want to keep. So, you've helped me to understand, so much better, that every wig is made a bit different, even if it's the same name/brand. This video came out way before covid, so I'm thinking now that it's an issue that wig wearers have had to deal with for years. I've been thinking I've been getting defective wigs as no two seem to be the same cut/color. It definitely helps me to look at it as you said, each wig is its own and to work with it as it is.
Thanks for the comments! Variances are a fact of life in mass produced wigs, and unfortunately, the labor shortages over seas and supply issues caused by the pandemic has caused prices to rise and quality to suffer in some cases. Blessings!
I bought Dolce because of your wig reviews and I love it! It's such an easy wig to wear. I got it in Nutmeg R, beautiful color. I love the Noriko fibers, especially for longer wigs. They don't tangle as much as the others. I have Raquel (both in HD and regular fiber), Jon Renau, Rene of Paris, as well as other brands and I think I like the Noriko fibers best.
TAZSWIGCLOSET I have to say though that I like Raquel's caps the best. I have both lace front and regular and they are finished so nicely and are so comfortable for me. Noriko caps are a little snug.
I have watched a ton of your videos and I have to say I think the jackson is one of my favorite wigs on you....the style just looks right at home on you. I cannot wear a jackson because I have a small head and it is waaaay too much hair for my face and frame but it looks like it belongs on you.
Love this video as you showed a few different styles and gave great comments. And also some very useful hints, particularly how placing the wig slightly wrong can make a lot of difference, thanks one again Taz.
I love that you are reading our comments! I do not want to seem critical, but maybe I can clarify my last comment. You are so nice when reviewing these wigs that I’m having trouble choosing which I should avoid. I learned from other sites (occ. on yours that 1..Hand tied was great because it feels light and hair lies flat. 2. Monofilament good since hair parts look natural. 3 the more lace around the periphery the better hairline ( but I want to know exactly which examples do it poorly like the ones that look like hair plugs). I would love to have an informational comparison chart for all the major brands and each of their products that rely less on color but include price, presence and location of lace and permatease, mono with locations, hand tied or not and Customer reviews. If their is such a type of “consumer reports” out there would love to find it.
Taz, I just wanted to let you know I think you are a fantastic wig model and a have a wealth of information regarding individual wig information and styling options. You're doing a fantastic job! I've bought several wigs based on your reviews.
chovava bateman Thank you so much for sharing this! I appreciate the feedback so much! I aim to relate reviews to be fun, interesting and informative. I love to know that I'm helpful💕💕💕
Hi Taz This was so wonderful to see all these wigs. I really like the Jackson. I just have to find a color I like now. You look so nice in all these wigs, you are lucky you can wear so many different colors and styles. Thank you Taz always learn something new from your reviews. Have a great day.💕
oh I remember Jackson ... she was too poofy for me ... BUT I was new to wigs and didn't understand that eventually I would wish I'd kept her. She looked great on you.
I just purchased my first Noriko wig and I am in love with it . Thank you so much for your reviews and the comparisons of different colors . You've really helped me so much and I just wanted to say thank you . I'll be purchasing some more Noriko wigs based on your reviews and the comparisons that you've done .
Maria Nobile Thank You for the amazing feedback Maria! I love Noriko Wigs and will be featuring more Noriko reviews coming up this winter on the Cysterwigs RU-vid channel. All my best, TAZ XOXO
Taz I agree with the others.. you look great in every style. Thank you for showing us the many styles and styling options; it truly helps. I am looking for a Lisa Rina style, do you have any ideas?
Loved your tour Taz. I've been pondering the Ivy. So cute. It's on sale in the Spring Honey right now. I have naturally gray hair (silver tone), with cool tones for complexion. Wondering if you think the Spring Honey would be to Warm a color for me? Don't know if you can help me with this. This would be my first wig. Love your channel. Love your wigs. Lucky you for having so many wigs to choose from!!
Patti C Hi Patty! Spring Honey is going to be a warm color. It’s not a bright color, however so may be worth a look. Ive is a great first wig. Easy to wear. I just reviewed Ivy in Sandy Silver on the Cysterwigs RU-vid channelwhich is brownish Gray.. very pretty also. XOXO
I love ALL of your videos! They're filled with valuable information and showcase great styles. My experience with Noriko is limited. I tried Spring Honey and absolutely HATED it! It is so neutral and BLAH that I couldn't even wear the wig, it's still in the box. I also tried Angelica (love the style) in Butter Pecan BUT it's rooted which looks terrible on me. I tried everything to lighten up the root, but to no avail. I can wear it with a hat, but that's about it. Noriko does make some great wigs. Unfortunately, they don't offer enough colors WITHOUT ROOTS. They look so dark that my eye is immediately drawn to the roots. I hope they will bring back Chai Cream (Nutmeg R without the roots). Thank you so much for all your great videos!!!
Tax I just found your channel. I would be in heaven and never want to leave. You are so beautiful in every shade the last one you had on. I was like omg. She looks so much like my Beautiful Cousin Her actual hair is in the almost exact cut. And color. She also has those piercing blue eyes. And cheeks like you. She lives in South Florida. You two even sound alike. They say we all have a twin somewhere. My late Mother loved wigs and she wore them with such an Elegant look. No one knew she had one unless she shared it. I miss my Sweet Mother so much. It's August and her upcoming birthday is coming soon. Yet she want be here for me to share it with. I may release a mylar balloon saying Jappy Birthday Mom. You are gone yet never forgotten. Keep showing those wigs. I've never purchased this brand. I'm used to selling Rena, Adolfo, Revlon, several others in my Salon. I no longer have it open. I closed due to health issues. Yet I so miss getting woman. Excited about wearing wigs. Some lost the hair due to Cancer so I sold and measured them for their wigs. After they started losing their hair thru Chemo. A lot of the women because I am in a small town. We're nervous so I had them come in with a photo of the hairstyle and then gently suggested that their wig be a little difference. Because you know how people can say I love your hairstyle. You look a little different. So then they could say yes, I had a little different style. I being a small business sold them their wigs 10% over my cost. That covered my shipping and did if needed a trim and lessons on how to put on a wig. I felt us as women who are fighting Cancer. We are already stressed out. Most feel very self-conscious enough. So this was my small way to give back to my Community. I was a Cancer patient and I knew how a woman feels. So thanks for letting me have a peek into your Wonderful Closet of Beautiful wigs. They are awesome. Love n Lite too, you.🦋🦋🦋. Suzanne.
SugarPuffAndFluff Thank you sweet Nisha! I love that you stopped by today. I'm here if you want to consult. You always make great hair choices and you're always so beautiful and talented 😘😘😘
Hi nisha maybe you could offer advice on my Jackson I washed it for the first time and now it's too soft and the volume with the permatease seems a little flat..I purchased the Jackson for the permatease and volume any ideas how to get it poofy again??
Hi Taz.... Great video! I loved Jackson & Mae and for sure will be purchasing Jackson. You had answered my question of cutting some bangs. I have always worn bangs and even those mine are full bangs....I wouldn't even mind if I could cut some light and wispy bangs. Thank you for all you information on wigs. What a great way to decide which one to buy. ~ Joanna ♡
Hi, just wanted to let you know as a Jackson owner. I have many of them, and cut bangs in all of them. I also cut some length of old ones which began to look a little frayed on the ends. Its a great wig.
Hey Taz...this is very old review so you may not see this comment but I have had great success in using a heated blow dryer with the brush attachment (cant remember brand and I'm not at home to look) to work with "too flat" bangs to give them a lift and slight bend. Also used it to redirect other waves and curl patterns. I use it on lower setting but have even put it on higher heat for short time then turn it off with hair still wrapped around brush/barrel to cool, thus locking in the effect I was after! I have a feeling it would work perfectly to do all the things like you do with "the heat from your hands" without the amount of time that might require, especially for someone with "cold hands/warm heart syndrome"! Just a thought, oh yes. I think mine is Condor or maybe Remington, but also have seen gals at Godiva's Secret Wigs talking about this using one by Helen Of Troy. Hope you get this but even if not, thought it was worth sharing with others who might see this oldie but goodie review!!
Awesome Noriko Comparison!! Noriko wigs have always been a staple in my wig wardrobe. They are fantastic quality and so budget friendly! They withstand my wear and tear and the colors are gorgeous! Can't wait to see you in Mocha H :)
kelly vansickle Thank you for sharing Kelly! I'm getting around to the Mocha H, but it's offered on so few styles. I may have to get Angelica..you're so gorgeous in yours!! Thanks so much my sister/cyster💕💕💐🌻🌸
I always enjoy your videos!!Wow! I never realized that May is very similar to Jackson - just shorter. It has the same sillouette! I will be ordering one! Thanks for the video Taz! 💕
Oh dear, Taz, I'm so sorry to be slow on the uptake, but I really am only just coming into buying a wig in the next month. The problem is that I don't know which will look the most natural in terms of monofilament or lace front or full lace. So confused. I'm afraid I'll probably do synthetic rather than real hair! Ok, will settle down and watch the video now. I expect the answer is right there in front of me, lol. I love your enthusiasm. Xxx
Wearing the Dolce wig in nutmeg you looked astoundingly like Courtenay Cox. Have you tried darker colors in a shorter style like that? With your beautiful blue eyes, you'd look stunning.
Tazz ! I got the Ellen Wille champagne rooted long & straight. LOVE thanks to you. Question, anything simililar to recommend with more curls ??? and not so short ?
pamels urso you might like Gabor Radiant Beauty in 14-22SS...there are so many different types of curl and wave. The Ellen Wille Load is wavy..comes in Champagne Rooted. Good luck! XOXO
I wear a lot of hairpieces and toppers and 3/4 falls but haven't gotten into wigs. I stick with my natural (?) color of salt and pepper and some silver. I just feel more comfortable that way. Can you try some grey or salt and pepper wigs for us?
Barbara Hart Thanks for the suggestion Barbara. I'll do my best. I ordered the new Ruby by Jon Renau in the color Martini which is a gray transitional color.. very pretty. The video will be posted in .November on the Cysterwigs RU-vid channel. XOXO
Out of sugar cane and strawberry swirl, which would you say is more neutral? Melted marshmallow looks great on me but nutmeg f looks too warm on me, almost brassy. I don't like anything too ashy or too warm, something with a good blend of both tones like melted marshmellow manages to pull off.
You make me so jealous! U look great in every wig!! It's truly a blessing. Love your info. Thanks for comparisons. I am about to make my first wig purchase!! So excited. It's so nice to watch someone beautiful, classy & feminine!! So hard to find these days. LOVE IT!! 😘 If u had to choose 1 favorite brand... Which would it be? Jon Renau, Noriko, etc?
This Jackson looks GREAT on you, just gorgeous. I had to buy 2, one in auburn spice r and other in Chocolate frost r. Where did you buy your ribbon choker? It’s so pretty, I’ve been looking for one since October and I love yours.
we4utube2 Hi there! Thanks for the comments. I’m pretty sure I bought that choker in the Jrs dept at Kohl’s. I don’t spend much on jewelry. Too many wigs! XOXO
I like permatese, but also like the mono tops as well as the lace fronts. You do a great job with showing the wigs so please keep up the good work! I have a lot of the Norikos and love the May wig. Just wondered , about the Jackson wig , does the longer ends get matted or tangled? Again you do a great job with giving us a lot of information about these wigs. Thanks.
Barbara Nelson Hi there Barbara! When I wear Jackson I comb it out many times through the day because It tends to get stringy. However, excessively brushing and combing can lead to frizzy ends. So I avoid matting and tangling by grooming it more often, but that grooming will also have a toll on the hair. Hopefully that helps! XOXO
when I see your eye shadow color it just blends so well with your lipstick color. So, I would love to know what you use. I think having the colors so well matched/blended it looks great rather than having completely different eye shadows from the lipstick color. thanks for any help with makeup colors.
Peggy Hensley Hi Peggy! Thanks for your comments! I love makeup. My makeup strategy has always been for a natural and complimentary ensemble.. on my eyes, I use the Ulta Rose Gold Palette. On my lips Covergirl Jumbo Gloss Balm Sheers in color in #270. Thanks again and Happy New Year! XOXO
I just started watching your channel and I think it’s fun, informative and visually seeing all the different colours are just so beautiful. I heard that if the colour is not so flattering you can make adjustments with your makeup. Can you tell me how? Thanks 🙏🏻
Agapi_ Moïa Hi there! Keeping a neutral palette is key..especially with the eyes. I find with really light tones like platinum I have to line my eyes a little more heavily and use a bit more blush to keep from being washed out. Hope that helps! XOXO
oh jeez you look like Patricia Arquette in the Ivy! you are a natural at this--you are more natural and polished than most professional broadcasters---you need to be on film in some capacity, whether it's training films, instructional videos are television...you should send out samples to agents and producers
Hi again, Taz! I thought I read somewhere that you have an eBay store?? How would I get there? I'm looking for a Bon Bon on sale!! Keep up the good work, you're and inspiration! XOXO
Sally Good Morning Thank, you so much Sally! I love my Bon Bon style. I only have a few wigs listed right now. Here's the link. I may be listing some more soon. www.ebay.com/usr/tazzywigs
Taz love your videos...I'm looking for a Paula Young wig....Sheer Heidi...color: Soft Silvery Moon if you have any leads, I'd appreciate it.called Paula Young and they are out of stock
Thank you so much, you are very helpful in displaying these wigs, ,great concept, I will end up buying 1 of these as a result. keep up the good work, they need you, you're so beautiful. How can I purchase one of these? Also I measured right around forehead at 22", I'm so afraid it won't fit, I just returned a wig last week, average was all they had in the style & it felt very slippy on my head. what's your suggestion?
Joy Yoder Hi Joy! Thanks for watching. I purchased these wigs at Cysterwigs.com. I’m at 21.25” circumference...petite average. Noriko fits me perfectly in most cases. 22” circumference is the largest I would recommend for Noriko caps. You will see differences from wig to wig within the same brand. Luckily there are adjusters. And you can always use a wig grip or adhesive to secure a loose sloppy cap. XOXO
Great video I love my noriko thank you for showing an reminding us how beautiful they are...oh by the way love your necklace where did you get it? So happy to watch your videos they have really have help me with my wig selection 😍
Hi Debera! Thanks so watching! I got this necklace at Kohl's.. a very inexpensive piece I got in the (shhh!).. juniors department..lol. Have a great weekend! XOXO
Hi Taz writing from overseas. You are great, i bought jackson, finn and dolce thanks to you. Thank you so much for your reviews and all the help, honestly, you are my favourite. Just wondering if you do reviews after washing and styling your wigs? Mine are a bit tangled and slightly different when out of the box. Would be great if you could show how you style finn so that it looks much more natural and less tangled and dry. Kisses
HUGE DISCOVERY ON MY JACKSON!! The center seam is actually a bendable wire enclosure to customize the bang and keep it out of your eyes!! It was very painful and haven't seen anything on any site re: the wire!!! Check it out. Love ya', Taz!! Xo
Hi Taz, I have a problem with my Jackson just washed (cold water, leave-in conditioner, etc.)... The bangs aren't laying down and are sticking straight out like a visor on a cap. I know you're not supposed to use heat on it, so haven't done that. Any ideas? How do you wash your Norikos? I bought several Jackson wigs at a great sale recently, keeping them stored for the future. Thanks, and I enjoy your videos.
z2010able Sorry to hear about your Jackson! I've owned enough wigs to know you'll get a dud every so often.. that one wig that looks, feels and acts different than the others. If it were me.. I would soak it in a sink full of water with a full cap of fabric softener. Leave it in there at least an hour. You can rinse it or not.. I use a fragrance free type fabric softener. Tamp excess water with a towel. Leave to dry upright and on a wig stand. Position the bangs how they should be and allow to dry. I also use some Jon Renau spray conditioner when damp. See if that helps with the bangs and the softness. Be careful when hanging upside down to dry that one side of the wig isn't smooshed against the wall.. the fibers could dry awkwardly. Sure hope this helps! Good luck! XOXO
Thanks Taz for your quick reply. I'm going to take your advice and soak with a cap of fabric softener and dry the way you suggest. Will let you know in a day or so how it turned out. Have a great evening. x
z2010able I wear nothing but Jackson wigs and I use a blow dryer on my wigs to get the style trained the way I want it to go. I put the blow dryer on low heat and hold it fairly close to the area I want to style. I also use a round heated brush dryer to style my wigs also. Hope this helps
Love your in depth videos for beginners. I recently had 4 surgeries one after the other and my hair is so thin and I am balding in some spots. I love curly hair and dolly Parton her looks are the type of styles that I love. What would you recommend for a first time user. I'm a medium to long with the bangs curled back on top. I'm a ash to blonde like dolly. Please I need your help and advice. We're in the hot stage weather. Thank you so very much
Hi Brenda! I always thought this one looked like Dolly Parton hair ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PaXQeyChXNs.html I highly recommend you email support@wigstudio1.com. They have skilled and compassionate consultants ready to help! The consulatation is free! XOXO
Bobbie W Hmmm. I limit combing and never use a brush. I condition ends after each use and limit washing. I use silicon spray every few times. Hope this helps!💕💕💕
Hi, i do you have the Mochaccino R ? i wanted some thing else,. but, you said that you dident have it any more. so i was interested in that one. thank you, i really need help! they look so real! thank you pretty Lady!
