Closing day billy harvest. Zailea spotted a herd on the next ridge over. We drove over, sat, and waited. I had my crosshairs on where Zai said the goats should come up. 2 billys appeared. 150+yard shot. Normally I wouldn't take a shot that far with a muzzleloader but it was closing day so I held on top of his back and sent it. I practice at 170 yards all the time at Makaha. Got lucky and he dropped where he stood. Thanks Sean for helping me recover the goat. This was my most successful season goat hunting. Good times with Zailea on the glass spotting the goats and doing the actual hunting and me on the gun doing what I do best, pulling the trigger.
