Hey Matty Ice! Ive been rooting for you from before the weight loss challenge. I loved watching the process of you falling in love with poker. I feel like when you made the ft at run it up Reno was a pivotal moment in you taking poker more serious and actually studying and putting in the time. You deserve this man I hope it ends in a W. ❤️ from TBay Ontario. P.s hoping for a few more uploads on yt 🤞
Very enjoyable vid , i`m learning a lot from your reasoning and analysis of hands i think i would have folded a lot of those hands through fear and chip protection as i usually do them get blinded away lol . Its a long road but the walk will do me good.
To win such a huge field you have to be extremely lucky... I remember awful missclick on bu in 530$ whale, insted 7bb 3bet i typed 70bb with 2nd stack at the moment vs cl with AA.... Had T9s.... Board cames A82QJ....easy game 😂
Lol everyone says oh you had aces blah blah. Sick bluff with 82 for a big pot and lots of other good well timed plays that got you there. Two of the aces were raise and take its. All the have nots in the comments that can’t win so they blame it on the fact they didn’t get aces.
yo been a while since i watched matty ice and he has improved more then a head chef whos been coached by gordan ramsey lol wp bro hope you bink it can't wait for part 2. gg bro seriously well played ( notice how i never mentioned the aces !)
Not sure I understand the A4 play I only have 500k invested when he goes basically all in for 6m he is most likely gonna have either an Ak,Aq,Aj range which means your dead to a 4 or a pocket pair of 5s or better which means ur dead to an ace seemed like a weird spot to lose 6m
i mean he definitely also has a lot of suited broadways and probably 22+ maybe some KQo type of hand, but i also think A4 is a bit loose. think i'd start calling around A8s, A9s
Because of icm and it being the Sunday million I prefer a fold because I think opponents ranges are more snug than usual. I honestly prefer a limp with that hand and opponents stacks; A/4s flops pretty well and it makes for an easier limp fold. I understand the play given that we all make mistakes, he had already had 2bb in, he could afford the call and generally at worst he will have 30%. Everyone loves to make these comments going into extreme detail about the one obvious mistake and how they would have played it better/differently + in hindsight+ you get to see the opponents cards+ you get to see the result all of this before you comment. The reality is 99%+ of us will never be in this position for his kind of money. That’s one decision in one hand in a tournament with almost 7000 entrants. No offence but your decision making most likely would have gotten you busted before the money.
Also the villain had 12bbs so to assume his range is always and only A/J + and pairs is stupid. When a big stack opens the button and your sitting in the sb with K/Q suited with 12bbs and you know the bigger stack can be raising folding the button a lot, wouldn’t you jam all in? Or are you saying you would flat the sb with K/Qs w 12bbs?(FYI that would be a terrible play) or would you fold K/Qsuited in the sb w 12bb to a big stack min open on the button?(FYI also a terrible play) Answer you would jam all in which means you are wrong in assuming he is always beat there. IMO I would sometimes jam my 12bb stack over a big stack min open on the button with K/Qs, K/Js, J/10s, Q/Js, maybe even 10/9s, 3/3, 2/2, A/2s, A/3s and so would many other players. People want to jam strong hands only but tournament poker with 12bb against capable opponents like Matt who have the stack and the ability to be raise folding, your range is wider than A/J+ and pairs just so you know.
I mean even if he had 2 broadways your still only gonna be 60-40 I wouldn’t risk that much in that spot just feel like could get it later with a better hand
RavensTheNextDynasty A/K v A/2 is 70/30 so idk how much of a “better spot” to wait for. You can’t just get 80/20 spots like A/A v J/J or something all tourney lol you got to take and win your 60/40’s imo
If your chair would play instead of you it would be successfull too with those cards you have been dealth. It seems like those who wear promoting jersey of pokersides are getting better cards. Lots of unbelievable last card hits. I always knew online poker is 100 % RIGGED and this was a proof for those who do not know !!
Well when a person is getting more AA than the entire table combine then there is no reason why someone cant win especially when they hit one outers like its a normal thing.... sponsored by the pokersite so its no wonder why they hit so many cards.
You are an average player with insane luck. Most of your calls are OOP or the odds are against you but you rarely fold and rarely lose. luck luck lucky! Still fun to watch tho.
william evans I’m glad you can surmise all that from his best run ever in a yt highlight video. Imagine watching thousands of hours of him not running well, you would have a different opinion. So annoying all these people assuming highlights of someone’s best tournament runs are examples of what poker is like all the time. You are not skilled enough to tell someone like Matt what level of player he is. On the other hand it’s acceptable for him to tell you that your terrible and have 0 results. I decided if you can surmise all that off a highlight video that I am correct in my assessment of you.
william whats your stars username?? you must be up a good few hundred k after that comment or you just a proper hater who plays $1 games so which is it?
@@daltonlambert1409 Get comment Dalton. Most of his major hands (highlights) were OOP and very lucky. You can't deny it. How many times did he get dealt monsters; (AA, KK, etc.) quite often. Enough to be considered very lucky! Doesn't matter how skilled you are, when someone calls, it comes down to luck and only luck!
