Hi, I admire your courage and strength. I used to work in Doha Qatar and I resigned due to my baby. Gave birth June 2019 and after a thorough decision I resigned because I wanted to spend time with my baby and take care of her. It was the best decision though. Good luck po on your new journey. Well versed and inspiring. I did try 6 open day for qatar airways and reached only initial screening 1x Gosh that was 8 yrs ago. No regrets.Job wasn't for me. I had the privilege to work in UAE. Even go to EK HQ my cousin works there.So fun to see Dubai in your vids.I miss it.

Really beautiful the way you have so much gratitude for the process of life, and creating meaningful plans to transition from one chapter to the next. Currently, I'm cabin crew in the U.S., and I wanted to try my hand for Emirates so that I can experience and witness more of the world, but you also really reminded me of the importance of building roots at home and being close to family, friends, and loved ones. Maybe I'll take a leaf from your book and stay rooted here, or add a language qualification. Your videos and others have made me so curious about Emirates, but since I'm already cabin crew here in the states, maybe I already have keys to the world at my fingertips. This must not have been an easy decision but it is exciting to hear of this new chapter in your life! I grew up in the Philippines and I fondly remember always eating lunch at my Lola's house after going to mass and then spending the remainder of the afternoon just playing with my cousins. Good times! I hope you'll do a future video in regards to what things to think about when leaving a country (i.e. closing bank accounts, credit cards, paying off debts, etc.) Also, what route was your last flight back in August???
My last flight was to Beirut, Jo ☺️ it was a quick turnaround. I did a video of it. I think the good thing about always treating each moment as your last is when it actually becomes so, there are no regrets or what ifs cos you know you did your all and you took every experience in. 💛 i can clearly picture in my mind your stories of childhood. Philippines has a different vibe and it lingers even if we have left it whether temporarily or for good. Did you do the latter? I will make a video one of these days as to how we prepared to leave Dubai. Is there anything in particular you want to also know? As always, take care :)
@@MaexMae Yes I left when I was age 10 with my family for good but I still have fond memories and I go visit every 2 years! As for particulars, I was always curious how people close a bank account. Do you wire the money to a separate account or do you leave the bank with loads of cash in a backpack?!? Just curious.

another exampler about how poor the contract rules at Emirates are...I would just resign in saying "f... off" when I'm abroad in a country close where I want to live in future and would stay there. And I would have make sure that I used the limit of all my credit card and again for the case of repayment: F.... OFF!.
