I know! This is what I grew up with until they changed it to Hayden Christensen. Of course I was born in 1996 so it was the only version of the original trilogy I've seen.

I bet they replaced Shaw with Christensen starting with the 2004 DVD box set release

I don't miss Sebastian saw at all. Hayden Christensen is the real Anakin Skywalker.

@@theunknowncommenter725 Nothing against Hayden Christensen, the hate towards him is totally unjustified. However for this particular movie, I think it makes more sense to have Sebastian Shaw as Anakin's ghost. He's the one playing unmasked Vader after all ;) Actually, did Hayden also replace Shaw for the unmasked scene? I don't think so but can't remember tbh lol
