You are absolutely correct about separating business and personal. You never want your personal records available for a lawyer to ‘search and question “ at will. Everyone in administration should have these separate. I was given the same advice as a young manager.
Couldn't agree more. It is my constant advice to university administrators. I'm always amazed when I get pushback from people, though. I quess some folks don't believe it can happen until it happens to them.
Thank you so much for very clearly showing the Weekly and Daily inserts. I also love that you describe how you use the inserts, you gave me some really good ideas! You helped me decide to get the vertical weekly, and I also need to consider the yearly overview.

As a public university administrator as well, this is awesome! My university also uses Outlook so which software do you use to integrate your personal calendar?
I use iCal to integrate both. I like it because my university sets Outlook so that you have to log in daily to integrate into iCal, so I only see that calendar when I log in to work. It creates a nice work-life balance.
