Hey guys, SO many of you asked if the cloud dough could be made with flour or shampoo. SO many that I made a follow up video showing you what happens if you try those things. Go check it out!: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-K8tA53NNheg.html
I recommend putting in the conditioner first then adding color to the conditioner then add the cornstarch so you can add the color without messing up your hands
Well I finally made it tonight! I had to add a lot of extra cornstarch but I noticed when I watched it again just now, when you measure yours, the cups were overflowing a little bit and mine weren't, I was afraid to add too much. I just remembered from when I watched it last night, the ratio was 2:1... but you're right, it does smells so good! Is so soft, I got the Kiwi lime conditioner. If I can get this to the right consistency and maybe even do like half flower, half cornstarch then that might be my new Play-Doh recipe
Hello, Thank you for the recipe. I made it for my granddaughters and they loved it!!! It did get crumpy after a while, they did not seem to mind. Love it!!!
i made mine and it turned out so well! i wanted to make it a medium size but it ended up 2 times bigger than what i wanted. for the colour, i wanted it to stay white, but it looked boring, so i took out the ink of a marker, purple, and squeezed it on my cloud dough, now its a lavendar colour, its so pretty, and you dont even need scent, it alr smells good from the conditioner
What are you doing Step-bro ? Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee3eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
I saw a girl on TikTok with what u use to make it and how it looks after and I was obsessed!!! But I did not know how to make it tysm for this your r amazing!!
Your such an underrated youtuber you deserve so much more I love this recipe and I'm 10!! It is a bit messy but it's fine the thing is it's kinda like dry on your hands like it leaves cornstarch marks on it but overall it's a 10/10
Awesome, I'll try that out tomorrow. I got 3 little boys and I'm in desperate need of something new to do. A lot of these comments are annoying af by the way. She literally explains everything in her video AND comments ... c'mon y'all
Omg you are awsome!! Thank you soooo much i made it for my sister's birthday because she loves slime/clay and she tought it was store bought! i was impressed of how it turned out!! and again thank you soooo much!!
Okay so i didnt have corn starch but i did strangly (because i never use it) have some corn meal. Now i dont really know how much of a difference they are when it comes to not the taste but texture. Because ive never played with or use corn starch.. But by looking at the videos corn starch seems more soft and smoother. SO i took the corn meal and i used an old play doh cup to smash and grind it up until it was very fine ;) Well it still didnt work out very well lol it was to not sticking together and seemed to me too wet. So i put a pinch of corn meal not grinded up in. Then i added a little flour & then a tad more conditioner. I think the problem really was i just needed more conditiner because now its fine. So in conclusion if you have corn meal you can use it if you take the time to grind it up really fine. Feel it out and you will know what to add more of conditioner or corn meal or a pinch of flour.
I love the cloud dough, I really do but for some reason my cloud dough is really crumbly, even if I added more conditioner It just got even more crumbly. And when I try to play with it, it snaps. But it is smooth. I even kept it in a airtight container but then after that it was even MORE crumbly. At this point in just wasting my cinditioner. I'm confusing myself too, but I don't know what to do to fix it. In a different note, it's very soft and will be very stress relieving for me. Any suggestions from anyone?
You have to add 2 parts cornstarch and one part conditioner, not any more conditioner. Then, it will be very crumby so you have to need it very well till it’s properly needed. Hope this helped
I used the corn startch and lotion mix and I just hated it created way to big of a mess it just kept crumbling everywhere. If I added more conditioner it was to sticky just sticking on our handsb
Hello! This was helpful to allot of people but it didn’t work for me and I wonder what I did wrong and what to fix. So I mixed with the spoon and my hand for 10 minutes do I have to do it longer or less time?
I've heard you can make something similar with flour and baby oil, but I haven't tried it. If you have those on have you could give that a try. Perhaps next time you get groceries you could pick up some cornstarch as well. I know quarantine is hard, hopefully you have something on hand that works for you! ❤️
You can use paint to colour it, before you ask since some of y’all are annoying af, no it doesn’t work with flour or shampoo as it gives a harder result, and it molds within a couple days with flour, it won’t be soft with flour or shampoo and I’m concerned some people don’t have conditioner. Please just stick to the recipe and I hope this helps, ask questions if you need to. :)
