Some tips to get the Planetary explorer achievement a bit more efficient: Go into space as a vertically confused snail, maybe as a Mega Rainbow toad by jumping onto the roof of the Flappy station, as a Blue Butterfly, as a Giant Gravity pig, as a Fish and as a Blue Mega Jetpack.
My favorite part was when he said "it's minion time" and minioned all over the place. Also I had never played this game, but your video hooked me. You are a professional programmer!
To get to the Pony station pretty fast from spawn, go a bit away from the left platform next to the pony walls and wall jump at the right edge of the platform and move a bit back and then forward again. You are at the left platform before pony station without going around it and the rest is easy.
13:58 you can get the Mega Rainbow Toad also pretty easily if you go a bit more back where you were in this video, then aim straight left (at the lowest position possible) and with maximum power, catapult away. You should end up landing on a platform somewhere nearby the Nyan Cat station and then you should be falling down instantly and landing on another platform where you can jump beyond the gravity pig station easily. I found this out three days ago and it should work very often. And at 25:25 you can jump as a T-Rex or as a normal pony onto the second small platform before jetpack station if you jump from the highest and closest bottom spot. Then you can go the reversed way to go upwards up to the Mini station.
I didn’t really realize it, but it’s the mysterious case of Benjamin Button, because you’re smaller than when you started! (FYI Benjamin Button became younger as he aged ex. looking 17 but being 70.)

you have no idea how long i'd play this game when i was younger, and seeing how it's grown over the years... I might not be as deep into the scratch community as I used to be, but seeing how this game has been updated makes me happy

Hey griffpatch! It’s me again… I found a bug in your Geometry Dash v1.5: When you press ‘P’ the music will stop, but when you press ‘P’ again… The music doesn’t start from where it should, it starts from the beginning!😮 I have a solution: 1. Place 2 ‘if key () pressed’ hatblocks. 2. Assign one of them any key you like. This will be the pause button 3. Assign the other one another key you like. This will be the resume music button 4. Go to the pause button script and under it put ‘set pitch to (-1 / empty value)’ and ‘set volume to 0’ 5. Go to the resume music script and under it put ‘set pitch to 0’ and ‘set volume to 100%’ This should fix it! Anyways, thanks for the amazing tutorials, amazing vids, and good work! Keep it up ❤

Hello Griffpatch, I have some comments or tips for your game. First one is that you should add much more SFX such as music because music makes the games more exciting. The second one is that you should add effects on the booths and on the jetpack, on the one of the booths you should add like little bubbles that cover the entire costume and when it is fully covered it should change to the next costume. To finish you should add some bubble effects on the jetpack simulating smoke. Keep it up!
You should make a series on modding your 3d laser tag game like damage, map color, small gameplay configurations, and maybe adding a 3d sprite that if you touch it then it gives you health

hey griffpatch! i have a fun idea for you, a grid map where you click a square and then your player will find the quickest path for it. now im sure that could be found out easy for you so how about this? an arrow that goes from your player to your mouse and twists and turns based on the path the person is gonna take. think of it kinda like fire emblem.
(am i writing this? oh well i thought to get the nether explorer i had to fly past the jetpack minigame for new land.) I'm going to make an entertaining comment. Here it comes: --Intro-- I remember playing this game in 2022 and helping ppl get the rainbow pony-kat-chu. Now i see these players straightly having fun while helping eachother. I wanna merch out of this btw. --Newbie Guide-- Here's some guide for new players: Do not try the Chick Run, Daisy Run and the Caterpillara run. The one you should do first is the pony-kat-chu run. Do not go for the hardest achievements. Go for the easier ones, and discover new stations while doing so. Yeah i know, only 2 tips but i'm going to make a iceberg on this. Stay tuned! I'll make an edit soon with the project link.
Finally we know the secrets but no one seems to play this game anymore, we need a new multiplayer game that can be played for years to come! If there is any scratcher out there which is able to build such game, pls do.
I think i might have an idea on how to make different levels on raycasting with scratch, perhaps adjusting the height variable? using the same technique as we used for the textures, perhaps we could do the same but with adjusting the height variable instead of costumes. I'm not so sure on how we could add the collision, perhaps its possible to adjust the walls down? It's weird to think about yet fun! if you find a way to do so, please let the scratch community know! this could revolutionize scratch forever! And allow proper games like portal and instead of using 2D images we could create our own models! I'm talking about PROFESSIONAL GAMES, like portal! Or possibly even something bigger! Like Five Nights a Freddy's Security Breach! The possibilities are endless! We just need someone to spread the word to others and possibly add new mechanics! I mean, you are pretty much the only Java Coder on scratch, and with the help of people like Warfame, Coltrox and all the others, this could make scratch way better! Haven't watched yet, but I know it's gonna be great! I would like you to make a tutorial on your procedural terrain generation and lighting as soon as you can. The lighting is the only part that I struggle with.
Nothing is stopping this guy to leave scratch and go to a place where he can actually make money, but instead he is being a good role model for scratchers and post tutorials.
This is such an amazing game to be built in scratch! It has the perfect setup for scratch and it allows people to play with each other in a friendly environment. I have just one question though: can you make a 6th video to your cloud variable game series to show how to add things like collectables and how to encode other things like different positions?

Could you make an rpg tutorial in my style? It's a big complex so if you do make a tutorial on it yen it may take a few episodes. So I don't expect you to do it So when you start the game you are in the menu screen. It has 2 buttons, play and load. Play basically just starts from the beginning. Once you play you are in the main section of the game with multiple buttons. Inventory, shop, save and events.. once you click the right arrow key then it brings you to the battles. It's a 4x4 screen and there's a max of 16 battles in this section. The very last battle you have to beat every single other battle in this section to fight the boss. And once you beat the boss you unlock he next section which is even more battles. There can be multiple battle sections and at the end of all those sections there's a credits screen or an end screen which tells you the credits and stuff. You only unlock this after fighting the final boss. Each boss will give different amount of rewards like XP, gold, weapons or armor. You can press left or right arrows to switch through different sections. Inventory: whenever you unlock a new weapon or armor it goes into your inventory. Whenever you want to delete anything you click on the weapon and click delete. It warns you if you wanna delete it just to make sure you deleted the right thing. Also there are 3 sections of inventory. Weapons, armor and abilities. You can have 1 of each kind equipped. And finally, there's a back button to exit the inventory. This is for every sub section. Shop: there are 3 different sections. Weapons, armor and abilities. You will get rewarded with weapons and armor by fighting enemies but you can also buy unique weapons that deals different amount of attack. Or armor and abilities. Save: gives u a code to load to this exact moment once you play this game again. Events: every time it rolls around a certain time of the year, there can be an event battle that only happens that time of year and it drops special weapons and armor and abilities that you can only get from that battle. Battles: it's an Undertale style battle where it's the enemies turn and then your turn. You can choose to either heal by using food or just to attack. There doesn't need to be a box but if you wanna code it In then you can. Each enemy has its own unique attacks or it could borrow some attacks from previous enemies. Abilities: abilities can do a variety of things. It can either damage the opponent every 5 seconds while its their turn, it can heal 10% your health back whenever it's your turn, it can give 10% damage boost to you, it can heal you 3% more health every 10 seconds it's the enemies turn, or it could combine multiple abilities like 10% dmg boost and 10% heal whenever your turn. Or could be 3 or 4 combinations. So yeah, unlikely you will actually make a tutorial but it makes for a good concept.
you should remake your online tutorial, i want to make a online game but i dont know how, and when i followed your tutorial from 3 years ago, but i didnt make it through episode 4 itll be nice to have a update, you have grown since 3 years
