@@TheLoreExplorer uhh, idk if it was on purpose, but you got the chapters in the video wrong.. the second is *Timber Harvest* instead of Timber Hearth, the fourth one is *Giants Deep* instead of The Eye, the sixth one is *Giant Steep* instead of Giant's Deep and i think the first one should be The Hourglass Twins instead of Intro
Hey, mod creator here, just wanted to clarify some things: - Greenpixel made cloudless giant's deep, whereas I (Trifid) made this. - The blue cores inside some of the states aren't from the base game, I added them to hide the fact that nothing was there and you could see straight through the moon. - There's more to the eye state than you showed, like the vortex (which is unique to the eye) still having its fun force physics, and Solanum and her music that I added. Glad you enjoyed it though!
Something I’ve always wondered, why does the “quantum planet” at the eye of the universe have a giant hole in it, as if it exploded from the inside almost identically to the core of the interloper? It’s certainly interesting.
I figured it must have been where the quantum moon originated from. How the moon actually separated from there in the first place is another matter of course tho lol
One really neat thing that you glossed over: The hourglass twins version is Ember twin on the south side, and Ash Twin on the north side. I find that really neat!
And which pole is which is also definitely intentional as well, with Ash Twin being the sort of more "late game" location and the north side being less accessible.
Always cool to see more New Horizons content showcased here! One thing tho: You credited gpixl but Trifid was the author of this one. gpixl made a similar mod which removes the clouds from Giant's Deep (might be worth checking that one out!). Trifid also has another mod called Sun Station Ascension that allows the station to survive the red giant phase of the sun, you get some really cool views from staying on the station while the sun expands, could be a cool mod to check out as well.
This was really neat! I'll admit that I hadn't really _thought_ about what the various moons would look like, under the cloud layer. I guess that, gamewise, I just figured they made one planet wit all the things and you just went to that part to see it... but this makes way more sense and is so much cooler! Now I'm just imagining if there had been some way to see this in-game, like if you found x-ray specs or something that let you see through the clouds, so you could see just how well the moon mirrors the planet it's around. Would need to be REALLY late-game, though! Or even something that prevents you from finishing the game "normally"... Heh, there goes my brain again, trying to rewrite history. Anyway, thanks for showcasing this! Loved it!
Script I was working on was about twice as long as usual. Which means twice as much work(if not more). So I had to do a non scripted one in between. Well, I suppose I didnt have to. But the youtube algorithm does require semi constant upload and I havent been posting enough. Either way. Sorry bud.
Back when the object spawner mod was a thing I was able to load assets from the main scene at the eyes scene. At least Im pretty sure. Would it be that different?
Has anybody else seen a video called something like "The Quantum Moon Watches You", because this mod seems to directly conflict with that person's findings.
Yeah. Im sorry. I know you probably dont care much. But still. Sorry. I made the video and wanted to credit the author. So I quickly looked through the mod list. Saw "cloudless" and thought "AHA!". When what I saw was the cloudless giants deep mod. So basically my laziness and ineptitude led to you getting falsely credited. Luckily Trifid didnt care too much.
The devs have such a great attention to detail that they literally made the core of the moon into quantum rock, even knowing the player would never see it.
Mod idea? add the Lantern with addtional mode, then when Closed & Focused, hold for 2 second ,then Simulation projection bubble starts to retract, for balancing reason fixed User in place
