I think it’s a good idea for the not dead yet big be patched or else Clove’s ult would just be a less risky iso ult. Plus it would make the whole self revive mechanic too op just cuz you receive an assist most of the time after reviving yourself. But the pick me up nerfs I agree was totally unnecessary

@@Recon_ops I just want to be sure if I understood it right. You can now equip the shield without the need of a kill at the start right? So at the start of the round you can activate the ability, 1 sec animation and now you have the shield without the need of a kill right?

@@deenrayea, and he also gets a refresh on that charge for every two kills, but if your shield is already active when it refreshes you can use the charge to make it longer

@@deenraplus the shootable orbs are still there after you get a kill so iso will basically have a shield every gunfight lolz

I see you've never tried playing as neon and sliding into a (good) enemy. They don't spray and pray, they track your slide and shoot you when you stop before you can get your weapon out AND accurate. If they don't, that's because you just dug a hole through your mouse pad with how much you're having to fly around their screen. As a duelist, her main options are to either support, or be supported. Otherwise, she's just a moving target that HAS to stop eventually (and will be punished for stopping). Her buffs are crazy yes, but her current state is awful. Yeah it's fun to bhop around enemies and get the kill sometimes, but those are the cherry picked clips on youtube. Unfortunately, Riot has a "character in awful place with awful pick rate? Buff them to the max". Same thing happened with Gekko where they buffed the shit out of Dizzy and his util reclaim time. Same with Cypher where his trips became rechargable and took half as long to stun and more than doubled the slow afterwards. This is just what happens. They get nerfed a little after, but they want people to play these agents to spice the game up.

The Trip arm time is now 2s, instead of 1. coming to geko, yes he got buffs, but even without them, he was pretty capable and IMO, as a character, he was designed well. Same can't be said of a lot of the new agents - Deadlock, Harbor, ISO. Also some agents aren't played outright like Astra. There is no sense in the "Balance" act of RIOT, because the characters themselves aren't being designed with long term implications in mind. Hence the constant need to buff/nerf them. No other game does it to the extent of Valorant.

nah, riot said that they ALREADY buffed them so these agents arent weak af anymore, gekko is in a really good spot, deadlock see a bit of play on certain maps and chamber is supposed to be a ranked agent, thats it

they do tho now cuz no time limit on ult and perma overheal you dont need to feel like your running out of time and can play with teamates more

because the character itself isn't team oriented. you can't nerf/buff a character without reworking the whole kit to make them team oriented

@@NovaaTheGreat well whats wrong with her flash....? reyna has already been picked in pro for her flash layered with other initiator flashes because they cant turn the initiator flash and shoot the eye at the same time so it guarantees atleast one hits. Her flash was already good, its just the rest of her kit that forced her to run it down after getting a kill that made her a solo q demon

I don't think nerfing Reyna is gonna fix the smurf problem, like I feel like balancing an agent bc of smurfing on it is super counterintuitive, they should j be balancing agents based on normal play

killing reyna doesn't magically delete all the smurfs. A smurf on any duelist or initiator will be a pain to deal with

literally no other duelist can enter from main to back site in 1-2 seconds. jett is probably the second best entry atm, and she can smoke dash into middle of site in a best case scenario. i think it makes a lot of sense to nerf razes entry, seeing as the rest of her kit is also very potent. count the amount of nerfs and the potency of those nerfs on her nade and boombot. unlike lineups, raze satchels will stay rather similar, but will have to adjust for the lower overall distance. i get ur point and all, but i dont agree. changing razes satchels arent like changing distance on lineups. razes satchels are not lineup based. theres good positions to do them from for sure, perhaps some of the satchel jumps are not possible anymore, or should be done differently... fine. it doesnt rly matter. i wouldnt be *that* mad if lineups got changed aswell, tho that wouldnt make a whole lot of sense tbh.

Yea but the ability, much like chamber and Jett’s is broken in its ability to circumvent any setups with little to no skill. Like what is the point of a kj cypher or deadlock setup if raze can just slap it out of the way? Placing trips in some random ass places hoping her pathing is going there? Seems like an overall waste. Raze has been super high impact to the point that there are pros that can ONLY effectively play her and dominate on most maps like jing. Certain agents need to be overall nerfed to make way for others and this is a great change coupled with neons overall horizontal mobility to let her shine.

They're only creating ranked demons with reyna and iso. I doubt they'll see pro play

They've changed yoru, Jett (millions of nerfs) and phoenix enough bro... they've had multiple BIG changes while Reyna and Iso have only had small minor changes. Jett is also in a perfectly fine spot. She's still op.

The Iso change is actually massive lol. He is now essentially an Anti-Op entry, and being able to have your shield going into his ult is also pretty big considering he can basically take away a site anchor and give his team site for free.

phoenix doesn't need any changes hes already good, the rest r fine too

I feel like they did a lot to change ranked though, especially with the neon buffs and raze/reyna/clove nerfs

@@horizonkanyon Her slides work the same as Yoru atm so however many TPs Yoru can get in a round is basically how much Neon can get (actually one less since you have to slide first before it can be reset).

@@yahallobenjamin2354 what? u mean an ult that lasts "forever"? sages do, viper can with hers, jett, chamber.. sure, theres noone else with an ult that is infinite resources and time on their ult. but no other ult detains u either, no other ult deafens the whole team, no other ult silences the entire site.... list goes on. agents ults are different. reynas ult going off due to time isnt rly something that is a huge issue to get rid off, it makes her more nice to play with and as. never was fun waiting out a reyna ult anyway. i suppose the ideas here is that ur no longer forced to push (esp for organized play) to get value out of ur ult. hence, u can play more with team. thats the idea im pretty sure.

It's a rework, not a nerf. It's supposed to make her harder to play, but more rewarding if you're good

the -50 heal is big the buff on ult is just a quality of life that would help in minor scénario

less smurf potential i guess while making her capable of being effective in higher elo

@@infernomaster1030 changes can come in power shifts. it could be made larger, kept in the same ish power level by for instance making it breakable. not saying they should, but changes can easily be net 0. a buff and a nerf of roughly same size.

@@Cryoptic_ Thats fair ig, I you could maybe make the sides of the wall longer to give the enemy less space to peak you if you’re behind it, could counteract the change by making it slightly slower since having 5 people run behind an unkillable wall is literally free site entry.

Its an unkillable site blocking moving wall that you and your team can hide behind and the opponents can’t contest it without pushing up, its a great piece of util that isn’t used well in ranked cause you need to bait out their stalling util first (which you can do with the first wall btw) so you don’t have to back off from it.

Iso's rework makes him PERFECT for Comp and pro play. Instead of being a bad 2nd Entry, he's now the best 1st Entry ego duelist in the game. You're always advantaged in the wide swing to kill the Defender holding an angle/firelane. Other Entry duellists like Jett/Raze are movement duelists; their job isn't to get the entry frag, its to cross the dangerous firelanes and get onto-site to pressure Defenders from multiple angles. Iso is meant to just straight up wide swing the firelane and get an entry frag on the anchor holding the angle, therefore breaking open the site. His whole gameplan has changed.

if I recall, he was designed in a way to be an Anti-Op duelist and this rework essentially made him such. He is much stronger as an entry now and has viability. His wall can use buffs but this change is huge. not to mention you now have armor going into your ult instantly which is massive.

@@AvalancheZ250 Gotta agree with that but idk why, the usage of Iso in competitive seems really less unlike other released Duelists. I think the abilities ain't fun to play, thats why the usage is less.

She's a ranked demon, basically an easier Reyna with a Phoenix ult that insta equip your weapon after respawning unlike Phoenix himself
