Any system can do this if it allows the setup of surcharging or cash discounting and it is legal in your location.

@@andybrambles782 I still didn't get how you can reduce or eliminate the credit cards fees! Is it because you ask the customers to pay cash instead and process the transaction as cash or...? What option do you exactly do on the system to avoid/eliminate the cradit cards fees?

@@abdessalambenbushayb if the system implements credit surcharging then an extra percentage on top of the sale total is charged to the customer's card, this extra revenue covers the processing fees and cannot be collected as profit by the merchant. If cash discounting is implemented then customers who tender with cash are given a small percentage "discount" since they are not incurring processing fees. This is what all POS companies do to cover fees, there is no such thing as free credit card processing. Clover is no exception.

Absolutely! clover can hold up to 10,000 inventory UPC codes

@@ChadThePOSGuy right now I’m using NRS pos which has been built for liquor stores, Tobacco shops, mini markets… buy you got hidden charges which they never tell you …plus it looks ugly the card processing terminal is rubbish. Very disappointed with it having it for 2 years. Have you heard of POS nation?

Processors use a bank for Closing (Batching/Settling) you Credit Card POS/Terminal and most of these banks have a cuttoff time from 9pm-11:59pm and if you are with the right Processing company & bank you should get your funds by 6am the next morning

We have Liquorstores, Car repair shops, restaurants, etc that all do over $100k per month and their customers do not complain about this extra fee. We have POS systems spread from California, all the way to New York City, and everything in-between.

@@ChadThePOSGuy not 100% of merchants fit this model. That was the point and a fact. And the last part of my previous post above need correction. I meant to say. If your customer base is OK with this, this will work. Of course there will be merchants for cash discount.

@@ChadThePOSGuy Its not that I THINK It wont work, it is that it does not work for all businesses. There are business owner that believe it will have a negative effect on the customers experience. Weather you agree with it or not this is a fact. Example You have the Chain Restaurant Chevys adding a 4% to the bill for the card fee and they are ok with that. But then you have a smaller local chain, same food type does not want the Cash discount program for the reasons I explained. And this goes on for Auto Repair etc. If you cant accept that I dont know what to tell you. But Cash Discount is here to stay unless the Rules and laws with the card associaltion on Interchange change, then thats another story, wouldnt you agree?

@@lillianave I believe it can work for all businesses. 99.9% of customers do not complain about this additional fee. The reason why it cannot get implemented is because some business owners are scared to switch to cash discount. They have this false belief that they will lose business/customers, when in reality this is not the case. In all of the businesses that I have switched over to this program, the owners have more profit at the end of the month
