On December 30th, 2017 a group of private streetcar enthusiasts took TTC CLRV 4002 for a evening charter around the city. A custom rollsign was installed for the event. The CLRV also visited TTC Harvey Shop at Hillcrest.

when the new tram parked next to the old one.....if trams could talk... I imagine a grumpy old man "young whipper snapper with you sleek design,new fangled "wide fi" connections, and that whirring sound you make instead of a clunk clank chugga chugga and dont forget the bell see i have a REAL bell not those new fangled computerized ones... and dont get me started on super smoothness no bumps and thumps! smoooth thats all these youngsters want these days! not the clunks and bumps like a REAL tram, youngster now lack spunk!!! ooooh youngsters these days!!"
transittoronto It was organized as a private "invite only" event by some TTC operators. Hopefully TTS or another group puts together a charter for the CLRVs soon.
