This video is a short overview of the 3 star all inclusive, Club Amigo Atlantica located in Guardalavaca, a town in the Holguín province of Cuba. Club Amigo Atlantico has been a favourite destination for many returning guests from Canada and Europe. With its white sand beach, Playa Guardalavaca, warm winter climate and friendly people make it a safe and attractive destination. The hotel boasts 747 rooms in the main building "Tropical section". It has several restaurants, bars, nightclub, gym, and kids club. Built in the mid 1970's it is being slowly renovated to modernize the facility. Filmed in January 2024.

This was the first Hotel we stayed at for our very first trip to Cuba back in 2006. Great memories and thanks for sharing and hope you had a great time Dragan!

My first resort too. I probably won't be back, but it was quite the place. A lot of little secrets, and a I love the 24 hour snack bar.

Really looking nice. I'm considering to spend some days in this hotel. What I miss (on all sites) is how to get there from Holguin. Of course a private taxi is a possibility. No info on buses.

There is a mix of people from various countries. It is popular for local tourists possibly because of its pricing and selling day passes and not just weekly packages.

I wonder how is the food since there is a big problem with food now un Cuba.

No shortage of the staples, eggs, bread, chicken, salad items. The food was inconsistent. Limited fruit, no real juice, no fish, shrimp or lobster even to buy at extra cost. The water is overly treated and has a disagreeable taste in restaurants and affected coffee and mixed drinks. Hope things improve long term.

During my visit there were shortages of certain foods including fruits and veg, so I would not recommend for vegans.
