@@mikehikes710 I downloaded them on MyAbandonWare website, and used Virtual box and installed Windows 98. Cluefinders is running great! As well as many other games! Novalogic games and James Combat Simulations .... The nostalgia is amazing 😂
I played this game so much as a child. I have been trying to remember what it was called for 15 years. I think about this game at least 4 times a year, more than anyone should think about this game. 10/10
Same! The worm sorting in particular has always stayed with me, the weird sounds they make when you move and place them... just burned into my brain. Just found this after years of fruitless searching and ever finding the right game.
I’m still shocked I managed to beat the game. It took me 4 months of going to the library computers just to play. Lava levels did take me almost a fourth of that time.
I remembered playing this game today and thought "I bet someone played this game on youtube". I was right. Even the sound effects are nostalgic. Vasco de Gama was a Portuguese explorer. The Monquistadors are the conquistadors.
The nostalgia just hit me like a train. I remember in Elementary school way back in the early 2000s, my teacher would allow us kids to play the Cluefinder games on the computer before and after class. 3rd grade was ALWAYS my favorite, even though I had beat it several times. I wish I hadn't grown up sometimes
THERE IT IS! I finally figured out what it was. And I only barely remembered a dragon was on the cover, and a fading feeling of it. I'm so glad I found it finally.
I remember playing this game again and again as a kid, but never beating it. One day, I managed to get to the very last bridge puzzle and had just figured out the solution when the game froze. I was so mad that I never played it again and this game has haunted me to this very day. The Goo song from 36:46 lives in my head rent free.
I’ve been thinking about this game for awhile, then had a dream about it last night where I was on a hardcore hunt for it and couldn’t take it anymore. Found it today. I could cry from the nostalgia, and the insane itch being scratched from finding it!!
I FOUND IT!! I can't believe it!! I've been looking for this game forever! No one I talked to had even heard of it, and I was beginning to think I had dreamt it up, but here it is!!!
Dude I've thought about this game so many times and could never remember what it was called or hardly anything about it. I remember the kids, puzzles, jungle, and goo. And especially the tile wall(trauma? That shits even creepy as hell now 😂) But as each scene popped up, and all the sounds, I was just overwhelmed with memory and nostalgia. I see a lot of people saying they remember the graphics being better but it's exactly how I remembered 😭😭 thank you for posting this!!!
Your comment are my exact same memories and feelings😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮!!!!!!! I thought about this game for over 20 years!!! All I could remember was some berries and goo and something about adventure 😂😂😂😂 Langston Chapel Elementary school 2001 2002
Dude I've been thinking about this game for years since I haven't played it since I was 7. Forgot the name and most of the things, now the nostalgia has returned and I searched so long to find it.
You missed some awesome quips from Owen! If you go back and replay the game, and use the video phone after the songs sung by the monkeys and the goo flowers, there's some funny stuff.
Am I the only one who thinks this game is super dark? I mean, it went over my head as a kid, but a grown man is luring kids into the remote jungle, kidnapping people, and poaching animals. WTH this is a kid's game!!!!
A really great game. Somehow I remember the "do u believe in monsters" song xD I started playing this game in 1st grade. This was so hard for me. Watching this now when I'm 26.. gosh they are so easy . Stupidly easy maths. (I'm disappointed u didn't play it in the hard difficulty) Also I didn't figure out mathra was a machine.. if I was older the aviation oil would have been enough proof xD Also the goo falls GameMaster stone face still creeps me out. Gave me nightmares as a kid. He's staring into my soul!
🎶 Here in Liverpuddle, We're all in quite a muddle 'Cause since the monster's comeback, He's ruining the goo. It used to be reflourished The goo has kept us nourished Now, our lovely home's impurish, And we miss fresh goo (goo...) Goo, goo, what happened to you? You smell like old socks from Mathra's shoes (hoo...) Goo, goo, there's just one thing to do: Find the key, stop the monster, And clean up the goo. The falls of goo are waiting, So stop your hesitating! We're all asphyxiating And choking from the goo. The goo round here is stinking We miss our fresh goo drinking We're not so good at thinking We're depending on you (you...) Goo, goo, what happened to you? You smell like old socks from Mathra's shoes (hoo...) Goo, goo, there's just one thing to do: Find the key, stop the monster, And clean up the goo. 🎶
44:22 en este minuto esta canción se escucha lo mismo que el motor OM-924 LA de la chassis 🇧🇷 Mercedes Benz LO-916 al momento de acelerar despacio una máquina del TransAntofagasta!
Honestly at the very end mathra didn't seem so scary i think since limberger was the real villain in a way mathra ended up saving the kids by seemingly sacraficing himself and apparently didn't take kimdly to limberger using him like that
I think the frog was from the JumpStart pc games parents could buy for summer learning. Look up “jump start reading for second graders pc game” that one has a frog with an Aztec pyramid on the cover
