@@michasokoowski6651 ...Actually that's the smartest idea I've ever seen for this. Prevents all the problems that "auto-guilty leavers" would cause, easily mistakable for an evil that's just given up and gone silent.
in tos1 at least you can be reported for "leaving while alive" Of course this is grey territory, cause some will claim they d/c cause of connection issues. But people who outright claim they will leave so they can get someone else, should be an easy report. I don't play tos2, so I don't know if that rule applies. On the other side, i can understand the frustration, as exe wins seems to be easier in tos2 than tos1. if you have no leads, it's easy to get an exe target lynched regardless what alignment they claim.
Exactly, for example, what if a coven member was outted, and seer saw that thee coven member was friends with a fake tpow claim or something. But since seer didnt post because friendly, one coven member that couldve easily died lives
In the case of seer finding friends: It's not even "no info" in the same way as invest "no blood" or sheriff "not sus" is. You're confirming 2 townies to eachother, and you get a confirmation on a player's faction if one of them dies. That's huge!
@@scorchiie heck that's why seamstresses abilty is only once per game in Botc and in that game needs to have ANOTHER role to insta-conf or condemn someone! (aka undertaker)
Yeah, ALWAYS report people who leave on stand, it means town gets a free lynch. We've already got Pros, Marsh and Dep making games short, we don't need salty leavers ruining the game on top of that.
@@Underworlder5 There would have to be a workaround for Jesters and Exes then. It wouldn't be fair to force every player to auto-guilty because they left.
@@LAZERAK47V2 Jester should definitely just not get a haunt (and not get a win on their stats). I'm unsure what to do for exe... Perhaps even though the leaver gets auto-hung, everyones votes still count for choosing a torment target, torment works as normal (on guilty voters and abstainers) and an edge case is added for a full-inno? Edit: Eh, I just thought about a few scenarios where you could abuse this to instawin for a transformed death or something... A "Leave to pick a winner" meta would suck just as badly, this is definitely not as simple as just adding the feature in as-is.
@@SpicyFiur That's still super gross. You're forcing a loss for any exe who had you as a target, and causing someone else to get voted up when they would have gotten a free night otherwise. Literally just wait 3 seconds to get guiltied before you DC.
Glad to see pipe posting videos where he is playing a more active role. I feel like there was a stretch where he basically did nothing all game and narrated it while he was jester or vig and watched
I had my first exe game this morning, got my target lynched day 2 by claiming tracker and saying they were sk that had visited the guy that died and tormented a coven. Sk ended up winning the game because arso ignited most of the remaining town as sk killed him.
Funny that with the tome of fate, we can more or less see when these videos were recorded, in comparison to others. For example, this exe game you had a 6.8x multi, while a previous one you had a 7.0x, so this one you recorded before that one.
6 claimed town protective in their will in the first game. I notice a lot of evils will typically put their fake alignment in their wills rather than their fake claim role
@@Temperance_XVII You are required to keep trying anyway as giving up forsakes even the smallest chance of not being guiltied, you have to play trying to win oherwise it's abandoning your factions win and pulling stunts like that means the town can vote another evil impacting them too which is why it's not allowed.
I really wish people that rage quit at any point got at least a suspension. I've lost so many exe games cos of people rage quiting the second they were about to get lynched. It's outright unfair.
if that was the case, you see a lot of people leave when their other faction member gets hanged or dies. Do you report them too? I see that a lot in pipe videos. Also people who leave D1 cause they didn't get a role they wanted. Report them too?
I learned one new thing the other day. Picking an Exec target bypasses Jailed state. I was jailed, and exec picked me. Once I got proscuted, the exec won.
Developers should grow some balls and perma ban players. Not talking specifically about ToS team but developers in general. Weeding out the problem before it grows.
My first executioner game I met a target like 4. Screaming and yelling, then they left the game intentionally when they were about to get hanged so I couldn't get a win. It made me hate getting executioner for a while.
How do I deal with recent string of bad games? I had games as solo bers where sk and cov attack me on n1, one where I got conj and town lynched me without a reason (was claiming trick and without ti and didn't say on tk claims)on vfa
Love games when there is less townies than coven. For real town should have always most people from subclass, since they are uninformed (so if there is 4 apoc or coven there should be at least 5 townies).
