Hey, the stock clutch slave cylinder has restrictions in it, I had the same issue on my k20a Ep3. K- tuned makes a much higher flowing slave that will help push that clutch further in, and it will also allow you to shift faster, from 1st to second and so on. It will save you money on mis shifts ( ruins gears and synchros )
Did it get batter after the bleed? Cuz after my dc5 change to the HD clutch, the clutch master cylinder slowly breaking down and leaking. I bought a new one from honda solve the problem.
Redline Junkie as of right now nothing has changed, same problems. I’m thinking since I have a stage 5 clutch the stock master and slave cylinders can’t hold the pressure of that clutch.
Seth Lee yup thats wat i thought as well. Try to replace the master first cuz they normally tent to fail easier than the slave. It always happens to Subarus but seems like Hondas have the same issue
competition clutches for the lose, the clutches are known for these engagement issues, the source of the issue is the diaphram fingers aren't tempered for the amount of clamp load they modified it for so when you press on the pedal the clutch fingers bend too much and doesn't like to disengage fully like it should, forget these off brand little house clutches they are all rebranded stuff and some might be modified incorrectly like competition clutches are, stick with ACT clutches, Clutch Masters,Exedy, or go to a twin setup with your power level, no two cents about it if you want reliability and driveability get a twin from reputable brand stay away from these house brand stuff.
