Meet him after a show at the machine shop in Flint MI around 02-03. Super cool and down to earth. He sat there and answered everyone's standard generic questions (cause we were too drunk to think of anything interesting) as if it was the first time he ever heard it.
Was on that bus in Charleston after a show at the Music Farm. My freind Cyanna knew Tim from the band and we both got on the bus with the band. Neil was not on the bus. Great times.
HUGE THANKS to you and your Sound Man Guys ! What a "Cracking" Job you did this time at Brixton Academy London December 2018 :-) (Took my wife she didn't even like CLUTCH LOL just came to keep me company! She does Now) ;-)
Wow! That Heady Topper was really hard to get back then. I seen them with C.O.C in Burlington. Maybe the same year. I even had to hard of a time getting it. But if your Clutch. Fiddle Heads Master Mind was a great beer if you weren't able to get the Heady Topper. Oh yeah, the show was probably one of the best concerts ever. Higher Ground is a great little venue.
Neil opens the beer fridge. Full of Dale's Pale and Surly etc. Awesome! Neil opens another beer stash full of Ballast Point. Casually pulls out a Heady Topper. Fuck...
Dear Clutch, I am so sorry that one guy in Huntington WV during the Elephant Riders tour tried writing Clutch on the side of your bus. I didn’t know the guy, but he, I guess he thought for some reason that you guys would love him for and take him on tour with you and let him play on stage (even though he probably ever touched an instrument.) All I have that night I have never been so humiliated over someone from my birthplace that I didn’t EVEN KNOW! I just didn’t think one guy could ruin something so great. SORRY GUYS, I still keep up with you as much as I can, and still think you guys rock!
