My love affair with CL began almost two decades ago with the Marco Polo. The internet was still in its infancy for me, and I knew absolutely nothing about the boating/yachting industry, but I knew this yacht was special. Seeing her for the first time was like visiting an art museum and being moved by a painting and not knowing why. I couldn't articulate what I was feeling, but it definitely had a hold of me. Without even digging into her specs you just knew her steel was 8" thick and she could circumnavigate the globe twice before ever needing to take on an ounce of diesel. I still pop in on her every once in a while. But I digress. So, yeah, I love this CLB65. The fact that their engine room is so spacious and they kept her at the 65' mark is just smart. They definitely have a target market. CL has yet to disappoint.
Fly bridge boats have what they call a 'venturi windshield'. It directs the airflow up and over the helm. You don't need glass all the way up. It keeps the open air feeling of being on the top deck. Most owners will outfit them with clear plastic/isinglass panels as well.
