Keep lying to yourself.. punk was the one instigating.. he literally walked up to him and as we can clearly shoved and choked him.. but keep lying to yourself that punk did literally nothing wrong.
Think of it this way: Punk was in the position of power, he is more famous, has more influence, has more money, is more important to the company. And then he starts inserting himself as a leader (while having no leadership skills). He starts telling Perry what not to do, and even bans Perry from his boss show Collision (just for thinking about doing real glass spot). Now Perry has a backbone, he doesn't get intimidated by this bully. So he stood up and did the spot, showing the locker room there is nothing to be scared of. Showing Punk has no control. Which triggers Punk, so he approached Perry, tried to physically assault his co worker, and left the company. TK had only positives to say about Punk after he almost sabotages his biggest show All In. But several months later, Punk trashed AEW in a podcast. Trying to play a victim. This is called a cry bully. Clear insecurities. Punk attacking Perry in any manner is a nasty stuff. Don't forget this kid lost his father before making it to AEW. He worked his ass off for 4 years in this company. New guy comes, starts bossing him around, banning him from Collision. Intimidating the locker room by his Big Name and Drawing power. Perry had enough, he did the spot as he already was punished for even thinking of doing it before. Still I would not want to be in position of Jack Perry. He earns his living via AEW, new guy comes/inserts himself in a management role with no training for it. And even start coming to your face and pushing you (while he did threw few punches and missed). After the incident now you can't be in the AEW for a while. Let's not forget any concussion Perry could have gotten if Punk didn't missed the punches. That would end the career of this young kid.
@@FeedMeNuggies it doesn't when the man admitted what he did and he got fired over it. It makes AEW bad and so desperate to do this 8 months later tbf
@@andrewcastillo3107 lol Perry said "what are you going to do about it" and got his answer. AEW marks need to toughen up a little, pro wrestling backstage always had fights.
@@mikemadsen7926 Meanwhile, Tony can't get anyone over to save his life. I hope MJF has a back-channel to WWE. Heading back to AEW would be career suicide.
Soooooo the point of this was to give Drew and Punk bonus material to make money with?...he basically backed up what punk said and gave him more credibility...it's almost like punk knew how Tony would react
After this, If mjf did resign, He will leave once it’s done. This is embarrassing. What was the point ? To show they have no real management. Now Tony looks horrible
@1KHC they went for ratings this one time with an embarrassing video for them. They haven't been going for ratings before, just for Dave Meltzers pointless star ratings but having dwindling fans in the arenas 😅😅😅 WCW 2001 business!
@@AshMundo people have been wanting to see the footage since it happened and they showed it by incorporating it into a match between FTR and the bucks, everyone seems to want to jump on Aew no matter what they do now 🤷♂️ just an opinion
The goal of the video was to “embarrass” Punk yet it did the complete opposite. All the video did was prove Everything Punk said on the pod was true. Honestly hilarious 👏
he did shove Perry first and was the aggressor. That said people don't care. This is only gonna make people like Punk more Not like Hunter is gonna fire or suspend him since it didn't take place in his company. Hunter has probably seen worse in the locker room.
TK time and time again keeps putting wwe over while Jack Perry and Janel Grant deserves bookers of the year award for getting Punk back in wwe and getting Vince out of wwe.
Especially will ospreays comment on HHH. We don’t know who triple H was talking about it may of been okada, mone but it proves who it obviously was. His ego probably got hurt and he proved triple h right with that unoriginal response. Bunch of sad workers at aew
Tony Khan when asked how he feels about fans sending him death threats- “I think it’s great!” Tony Khan on the aftermath of this particular nothing burger- “I feared for my life!” Also Tony Khan- “We’re the safest wrestling company of all time.”
Well we already knew he started the problem when he tried to embarrass Punk on live TV…. And then this… lol. Nothing here helps Perry, the Bucks, or AEW LOL
@@travispancoast8413he’s off screen to the right when Punk leans over and says something after he’s pulled off Perry. Whatever Punk said to TK is where he feared for his life lol
@@Doug-my8qz "You're a clown, I quit!" That's what made Tony fear for his life. Although losing your biggest money maker is something to be fearful of to be fair
Umm, we had worse scrapings on our elementary playground. Idk if it’s cuz I’m around Punks age or what but this is not at all what I’d even call a fight. There’s much worse fights in our country taverns every weekend. There’s been much worse real fights in the rings than this. If this is the worst thing that happens to you, you have a pretty good life.
I was around the Hart’s wrestling camp in the late 80’s this wouldn’t qualify as anything lol. And if you tried to embarrass somebody on live tv like Perry did - say… bad news Allen or dynamite kid… heaven help you when you get backstage…. lol.
So lemme get this straight - these guys who earn their living by acting like legitimate badasses in the ring are crying over getting pushed and put into a chokehold? 😂😂😂😂
Mate it is ridiculous they showed it. Also TK could have avoided this second incident by dealing with the first one properly ( so I agree with Punk that TK is not a boss) it beggars belief that a billionaire who’s playing at being a boss has seriously been shown for what he is. Spineless. The whole playground style of all this is pathetic. And then we have Osprey firing shots at HHH in a promo not long after, I’m sick and tired of it all now. And then they trying to use this as storyline fodder is just ridiculous.
I do think you are missing the moment when Punk goes towards TK. He definitely has words at TK and I think fits in with everything Punk said during the interview.
Quite sad how the biggest angle AEW could do is show backstage fighting this company is clutching at straws to pop ratings , CM Punk is still their biggest draw even if he is not longer employed .
1. You don’t use your television show as your own personal version of Xwhere you get to reply to anyone who says anything you disagree with and expect it to actually be a successful show. 2. If you feel the need to give a rebuttal to a shoot interview then have your own shoot interview during your show have one of your interviewers like Renee do a sit down with you where you show this footage and you give your opinions or do it like an actual professional and go have your own shoot interview with a reputable journalist that you respect, you don’t do it this way because you end up making yourself and the people around you look petty unprofessional and not very intelligent. 3. Everything punk said in his interview was confirmed in this footage so you’ve once again proven that the man may be a lot of things but liar is not one of them which means you’ve also proven that when he said you’re not a boss you’re a nice man and a clown he wasn’t lying. 4. They tried really hard to connect this back to a storyline because they’re trying to do some shoot work storytelling a pivot almost like what the WWE just did with the rock and it’s very obvious to me that they’re hoping it works in their favor the way it worked for WWE but the thing is they should’ve done this when he was still employed there in the company not when he’s currently working somewhere else because right now doing this using this as a part of a storyline is making them seem more desperate than anything else. 5. And the last thing I just wanna point out Tony told us it’s on RU-vid it’s in print in sports illustrated and in people newsletter even ESPN where Tony said and I quote at that moment I was in fear for my life because of what was happening in front of me which means them saying that they’re not showing the part of the video where he was scared is complete and utter crap and a lie because he said it was in this moment the moment that we all see on the screen that he feared for his life but we are all now seeing what happened in that moment and nothing happened to caused fear for life nobody’s life in that room with an any danger nobody in that room looked afraid for their lives so once again showing of this footage has done the opposite of every single thing they had hoped to achieve and this is what every single person with a brain has been saying for days now what’s going to happen and yet they did it anyway. 😂 Now what’s going to happen is a bunch of people are going to tune in to whatever CM punk is doing next because they’re going to be waiting for him to say or do some thing or make a comment about it so what the young bucks have just done if they have just promoted punk🤣🤣🤣🤣🤦🏽♀️ jeezus
I saw the footage for myself, and well ... even though Punk was the one who got physical first, Perry's body language certainly did him no favors. Long comment ahead, you have been warned. Even when confronted, Perry took a very cavalier attitude, and did not bother with explaining the glass spot properly. Honestly, I get why Punk got mad, cause glass shards are not easy to clean up, and one shard lodged inside your body is a serious health scare, just ask Bill Goldberg after punching the limousine window (he lost a lot of blood cause a glass shard severed an artery, and it was serious enough that doctors considered amputation to save Goldberg's life). Although I have to say Punk did cross a line by shoving Perry first, but if a co-worker knowingly endangered your workplace, and was so cavalier and nonchalant about it, you would be frustrated too, right? If this is AEW's way of smearing WWE's very successful WrestleMania 40 weekend show, then they have failed. For one, if they wanted to ruin Punk's image, the best time to show this would have been on Saturday, on Collision, alongside Day 1 of WrestleMania. Secondly, it hardly incriminated Punk, cause while yes, Punk did get physical first, but it was not like Perry was one of AEW's main eventers, nor did Perry endear himself with his attitude. Finally, with all of the context in place, it just makes the Young Bucks look petty with this latest middle finger attempt, and these are the same people Khan chose to side with throughout this debacle. It really does hammer in the message that AEW exists only for Khan and his hardliner fans to flip WWE petty middle fingers, nothing more.
Love your comment! I have to disagree, the time to show the video was when it happened. Unless there was some legal reasons. Even if they showed it on Saturday day one WrestleMania, on Collision, it still would have been stupid. They missed their window of opportunity to capitalize for AEW's benefit.
I dont know why jack perry would want to pick a fight with punk hes friends with samoa joe and trained in the ufc both which specializes in choking people
So this did literally nothing to harm punk as expected proved him right jesus what were they thinking releasing this it would have been better for AEW to have people make it up in our heads. Like even punks explanation sounded worse than this video FFS lmfao... And in can fully identity with daze I can't watch AEW anymore
Awesome video again daze! If this was Tony’s way of hurting punk it did the complete opposite and boosted punks popularity and makes him look cool like you said. Plus this will just make people like punk more.
I completely agree; I don’t think this was a dig at Punk. They aren’t stupid and they will know this simply backs up exactly what Punk has already said, therefore no one looks any better or worse than they did before.
The problem is when the owner of the company comes and says “I feared for my life”; When fans hear that they automatically assume the worst… This just looks like a playground scuffle!!
